I haven’t seen as many deer posted on social media as the past couple years so wanted to see how you guys were doing? Maybe moon phase played a big role? Maybe I haven’t paid enough attention? AZbowhntr Report post Posted November 1, 2023 There have only been a couple bucks posted so far. Not nearly what I expected so far. I was down south with my daughter and it was tough with the moon. But they were still moving and up until about 9:30 where we were. The buck we were after on Friday bedded with his buddies at 720 and killed him about an hour later when he stood up. Went out Saturday and Sunday with another friend who didn’t kill but not because he didn’t have the opportunity, just being picky. no worries Report post Posted November 3, 2023 I found a dozen plus bucks but the biggest was around 90. It was the second day and I watched him and an 85 bed around 8:45. I passed on them at 390 yards and several smaller 3x3s. Most didn’t even stand up until an hour after sunrise. Some were still up until noon. I ended up killing a forky on the last day at 11:40.
