Opener or October I’m in AK the first two weeks in Sept so likely going up for 7-10 days in early to mid Oct. could go back still after if I didn’t find anything the first 10 days. knothead Report post Posted June 29 Got 13 Wyo antelope points and plan on buying more and using them in 2027. Had a successful archery hunt back in 2011 and I plan on doing it again but next time I am going to give decoying a try. The rut was crazy last time I was there. I actually hunted during a gun season but after the opener and never saw another hunter. I spent majority of my time in a blind so not seeing anyone was understandable. Weather was much better too.
