andrewmilich Report post Posted Saturday at 01:01 AM I was thinking how amazing it would be to find a warehouse and make an indoor archery course out to at least 50yds. You could have 3d targets, different cover, some tree stands, ground blinds, etc. different terrain. Targets at different angles etc. make it look like cabalas mountain or the sheels mountain. could be amazing. It's just too frickin hot out to go to ben Avery. Plus their hours suck. anybody with some money out there...its a great business idea. thoughts?

bigbuckfever Report post Posted Saturday at 12:10 PM I knew I wasn't the only one who has walked through Bass Pro and Cabelas and had the fantasy of flinging arrows at some of the critters in there. I still range em when I go.
HuntHarder Report post Posted Saturday at 03:20 PM It's a losing proposition unfortunately. Costs are too high. The A/c bill to effectively cool a large warehouse is sky high. Az archery is probably the closest thing we have.
Coues247 Report post Posted Saturday at 04:34 PM Throw in the insurance policy you would need to pay for and morons shooting arrows through the ceiling and walls and you'd be broke.

andrewmilich Report post Posted Saturday at 04:53 PM There are always issue and costs....thats just part of it. But it would be awesome....Partner with a bow dealer let them have a store and share the costs and profits. 13 hours ago, oz31p said: Like Arizona archery club? thats only 20 yards and flat targets....not very fun.

If there was some type of mt w/ multiple targets, what's the plan to prevent everyone shooting at the same target?
jdown Report post Posted Sunday at 02:22 AM The best indoor shoot I have seen is at the great American outdoor show every year in Harrisburg. Picture 30 3ds spread out at different angles, distances etc. Then 6 stands. 1st stand you ahoot target 1-5 etc.; 2 stand 6-10 etc. Target 1-5 would be spread out among the 30 targets so you have different angles and distances at each stand. Rinse and repeat until all 6 stands are completed.
