Pet peeves

Smokers that drive down the road and think it's ok to throw the butts out the window...... or realize the ash tray is full and stop and empty the ashtray out on the road or parking lot.

Gum chewers that think it's normal to spit their gum out on the side walk or parking lot. 

Hunters that can carry a full beer, water, or soda in, but somehow can't gather up the strength to carry the empty out.

Pure Assholes.

Idiots that see that you are hunting/glassing an area and they still come and hike and sit a few yards from you to hunt that same area you are hunting.

Just happened to us. 2 guys walked right up with tripod and binos and set up and then asked if we had seen anything.

It's really upseting when you are having a great time, enjoying your hunt and being appreciative for the opportunity to enjoy those beautiful mornings and days on the outdoors specially when you get to go out only twice a year because of work; or finally you get drawn for the hunt you want and here comes a couple or more idiots that sit just a few yards from you and one hour later they shoot 11 times to deer that are 900+ yards away! and they call themselves hunters? Oh boy don't get me started a got a couple of stories on those people.

I have had this happen twice by the same guy.  I won't mention names but he happens to own Bear Mountain. The one time he set up and glassed less than 10 yards from us. And the other time parked next to us and hiked in over 1/2 a mile to glass within 100 yards of us almost 2 hours after we were already there glassing.

I usually always stop and talk to other hunters to see where they are planning on heading out into so I can stay out of their way and also offer to let them know where I might be if they should need help in case of an emergency.

You meet all kinds out there. Be respectful and safe.

The guys that ride right up and around a waterhole  that your  hunting  right at first light and again  just at prime time . You can clearly  see the blind were in so no excuse! Then it's every day twice  a day the same group.

It is irritating finding the cans or empty water bottles some of them throw out of their buggies. POSs!

Hunters that show up late and proceed to use rifles to glass at you.

I agree with all of the above but I'm surprised no one has mentioned the slobs that decide they need to drop a deuce and proceed to leave half a roll of crap covered tp all over the side of the hill - usually right next to the good glassing locations. We've all had to go in the woods/desert. Dig a hole and bury all evidence - not that hard.

The remedy for that is having a bundle of 20’ rebar with a few feet hanging  out the back of your dump trailer. A whole group of em on Old Spanish Trail a couple years ago almost got taken out when I rounded a corner. Didn’t do it on purpose but looking back it was kinda funny
