“Pine Box “

Recommended Posts

My uncle came to see me , he has cancer and the Dr.’s are giving him the long face - 😞

so he asked if ide build him , a plain old simple pine box . How do you say No to that ?? Elk antler handles and elk Burr inlay ….. I guess this qualifies for a plain old simple pine box …..

Wow, that's a thing of beauty right there.  I'd much rather have that then the fancy chrome stuff, heck I'd be just fine with a crappy osb box with framing nails.

Sorry still...

Beautiful work!

There have been a few "Pine Boxes" posted over the years and each one has been a work of art.

We buried my BIL's wife a few years ago and I had 3-4 days to get her box to El Paso, so it was a pretty much a rush job. When we buried my BIL last year I had a few more days to work on it as the daughter was out of town. They are now residing side by side in Hatch, NM.

I built my own back in 2010 right after both my parents passed!

My wife been bugging me ever since and I just couldn’t stand thinking about it even though I have custom built probably 20 more since making my own!

Two years ago we got our meager assets all lined up in a trust where my wife declared she was going to be cremated!

So I bit the bullet and put this urn together for her!
