Archery on top of late tags is total garbage that needs to be changed. All archery needs to be a draw. I'm in the burn points game, I'd rather hunt than sit on the sidelines.

I saw about 5 great bucks taken in Oct/Nov2022 before my December hunt in 2022 and there were no big bucks to find (at least where I was) by the time we went out right before Christmas that year.  As much as I love 35A, I don't think I can go back there anytime soon.

I’d just pick the unit you can scout the most and maximize time in the field. Hours behind glass is probably more important than anything else for finding a big buck.

Catch and release hunting has been a common practice on Ft. Huachuca for years.

I am in the same boat with 8 points. Can't decide between unit 27 or 22. Either way I think my odds are still low with those two.

I’m at 23 points but we got an antelope hunt and an elk hunt so I guess it’ll be 24 points…..
