bgshooter Report post Posted September 7, 2015 Went out last with my youngest son. This was our first bird of the night. When we went to pick it up, he said "this one looks like a fat one." We finished with 12 birds by sunset. Right after we called it a night and started packing up, 10 birds decided to circle us above. Like they knew legal hours were done LOL. Here he is playing near a creek while I packed up the truck. He loves being out there. I was planning on going out this morning but I was feeling a bit under the weather. Hope this thing passes quick so I can get back out there before the season ends.

Arrowsniper Report post Posted September 7, 2015 We went out Sunday. It was sad. Really dead. It looks like it rained the day before. 2 birds, with 6 really long shots.
Big Browns Report post Posted September 7, 2015 We had another epic day of Dove hunting. We had 7 hunters with 7 limits after a few hours of shooting. That included 2 white wing limits by 6anut (Brian) & CouesPursuit(Shea). Everyone had a great time! I was very proud of my son Kyle. He made some Amazing shots! My nephew Thomas was able to shoot his first white wing. Great day!
DUG Report post Posted September 7, 2015 ^^^ Nice! We took the whole family out today. I think we took 46 birds between 5 of us. I had to give up the 28 to my girl so I shot my 391 today. We parked right near a bee hive but no issues with them.

They definitely not where they have been the last few years. Finally had to change it up a bit this year after last year's epic fail :-)

johnnie blaze Report post Posted September 8, 2015 Had to change plans from our scouting spot....rain made it a freakin mud pull. But tried an old desert spot and it was money. Found the flight path to and from their feeding spot. Multiple peeps limiting out every day. Very few WW's, but didnt really matter. AM was low flying, fast n furious. PM was great flocks flying at a nice beat about 30' off the ground. But best of all.....we had it all to ourselves.

The dairy has been a blast but what you described is the classic dove action I love! Good score
