Pfffttttt, its just another tool. Buy a 40k 4x4....put some AZ pin striping on it. Not sayin you gotta jump the grand canyon, but if you don't use it....might as well not buy it. It's called adding character silly.

This is why I bought a $4500 F150 4x4 so that I can play with it without having to worry about putting pin striping on it. Same reason I use my Mossberg 500 for hunting so I don't have to sorry about a pretty gun getting dirt on it :)

Went out again yesterday afternoon with my youngest daughter (13). Now she has only shot a shotgun one day (last Sunday at the Sporting Clay range), and using my 12 Ga. O/U got the better of her.

I felt so bad, I went out ad bought her a new 20 Ga. O/U Sunday afternoon.

So anyway, we went out yesterday for an afternoon hunt. Got out there after work and school about 4:15PM.

First shot with the new shotgun, and she popped a Eurasian right out of the sky!

At 5:15, we were done. 2 limits (+1), a total of 27 shots of 20 Ga., and 22 shots from my 12 Ga. 31 birds in all. 75% Eurasian.

Eurasians are not counted as part of your limit. Non-native species. No limit, no season restrictions.

But after opening day of 31 birds total (6 WW, 6 Mourning, 19 Eurasian), I felt that 15 birds (16 for me, with 13 of them Eurasians) for each of us was enough for that day. My daughter was hot and tired already, and I was picking the Eurasians on purpose for the bigger breasts (I like big breasts). We easily could have stayed until dark being selective and shot 200+ Eurasians if we had that many shells.

I will be out there tomorrow afternoon with my wife and kiddo my 6 year old wants to get his first dove with the 410

I'm having dove withdrawals. Lots of people rag on eating dove but it's not the eating part that's the most exciting! They are ok, but it sure is fun and always thinking of new ways. Been wanting to gather a few limits for some jerky

I went back out solo today. 15 for 35 w/ my 28 gauge Browning pump including the shot of the day on a huge white wing flying super high. Dropped him w/ a load of 8 1/2's.
