browtine Report post Posted February 5, 2017 Hey guys I'm getting a new bow this year. I currently shoot a switch back and love the valley break over and back wall. Just curious on what u guys have shot recently that is very forgiving long valley and accurate. Trying to save myself a lil time at the shop and have a few choices to try lined up when I go in. Thanks for any feed back. God bless
azpredator@work Report post Posted February 5, 2017 I shot a few different bows a few months back. Smoothness only, I would rate them in this order: 1 - prime rize 2 - Mathews halon 7 3 - Hoyt defiant 32 I wasn't happy enough with any of them to make the purchase. Maybe this year's bows will have "the right one" for me. Good luck in your search.

mattys281 Report post Posted February 5, 2017 Mathews no-cam. Smoothest shot delivery I've ever had, but I did not shoot 20 different bows for comparison before buying it. If you're going to test drive a few anyway, I'd shoot one of these and see how the concentric string track feels.

GreyGhost85 Report post Posted February 6, 2017 i shot all the 2016's in september. the carbon defiant, the new elite (can't remember the name) and the Halon 6 all shot very smooth. i went with the Halon. i liked it'd draw cycle the best and it was faster than the other 2 without giving up anything. was not impressed with the defiant turbo or the bowtechs. felt like they were going to rip my arm off
trphyhntr Report post Posted February 6, 2017 1 - prime rize 2 - Mathews halon 7 3 - Hoyt defiant 32 Black Widow... Try the elite brand before you buy a bow. Mathews no-cam. The new PSE Evolve Obsession i went with the Halon. these bow threads are worthless at tits on a boar. OP just buy one and it will be good obviously.
HUNTnTAT2 Report post Posted February 6, 2017 The New PSE'S are some seriously comfortable, fast and accurate bows. You cannot beat 90% LET off that the Evolve cam offers.
