How many days are you archery elk hunting for??

I'm curious how many days you all are planning to elk hunt.

I'll probably be out there 10 days.

I have from this Thursday thru the end of the hunt off. In for the long haul.

I'm buried at work and I like this new company were doing work for. We didnt go for deer every weekend like normal. so Daughter and I are hunting thursday for deer, then she hunts friday through monday for elk then thursday through the next monday.

I am hoping she gets it done friday Am, but you never know I have seen her pass up shots the last 2 years cause she doesnt like the shot.

I'm planning on getting mine by Sunday (lol!) but have the whole hunt off. May run home for a day during the hunt.

After Thursday I don't have to be back until Oct 2.

Until I tag out, minus a day back here in the valley to go to a court hearing. Will be there through the end of next weekend at a minimum, even if I tag out opening day.

Im helping on a 6a (weird I know) Hunt for Heros hunt and will be up Thursday thru Sunday and possibly the following weekend. We have two hunters in camp this should be fun. Wish us luck

I am hunting the entire time until my wife fills her tag.

 

My wife wants to hunt exactly zero days.

 

I told her the better she hunts the quicker it is over.

 

I have a feeling it will be "over" quickly....

 

but not with a filled tag. lol

well that's sad, christine has a tag and we are planning the whole season even if she tags out early can't wait, i'm setting up a spike camp tomorrow.

I leave tomorrow and have no plans to return until the hunt is complete.

 

It's amazing to see how many folks take the whole hunt off these days. As a kid I can remember the woods being empty during the week.
