The last big tax increase I had was from Trump and I expect the same this time around. Selling off public lands AND tax increases. Making America Great Again I guess. Well atleast we can take the 500,000 manufacturing job vacancies to 1,500,000. My vote is for Elon in 2028 He is ineligible to run.

But not many conservatives look there since Drudge could no longer conceal his Trump Derangment Syndrome.

No one can or wants to live there especially in the winter when you couldn't even get through the snow to your house. I can kind of see if they were selling some forest land around cities to expand them but 80% of the land on the map is in BFE.

cactusjack Report post Posted June 19 Im against the sale of our public land HUNDO-Percent. That being said, the map we are looking at is not from the bill, it is has been produced by conservation groups Other conservation groups have calculated the amount and mapped the locations of BLM and Forest Service land that would be eligible for sale under Lee’s bill. It totals 120 million acres across 11 Western states. This map visualizes the 250+ million acres of public lands eligible for sale in the Senate budget reconciliation package. If they want to get rid of the land, give it to the states. As to which party is responsible, my take is there is only 1 party, its Big Money. Both the Dems and Repubs take money from the same people. They don't care about us until its election time. They promise, blame, make excuses, ect, just so they can stay at the feeding trough. Picture if you will WWF Wrestling. The promotor decides what each side fights/stands for, and the battle rages on. Back stage they just share the loot. And plan the next battle. Who are Sen Lee's donors? Developers I bet are some of the big ones. The BLM, Forest Service, and National Parks lands are to be managed by the rules set up in the 1976 Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA), lots of words.............. Congress recognized the value of the public lands, declaring that these lands would remain in public ownership. Land can be sold, but its not supposed to be unless it falls into one of 3 categories They are scattered, isolated tracts that are difficult or uneconomic to manage; They were acquired for a specific purpose and are no longer needed for that purpose; or Disposing of them will serve important public objectives, such as community expansion or economic development. I dont trust Sen Lee to decide for us....
Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 20 Contact information for AZ Senators Kelly and Gallego: https://www.kelly.senate.gov/contact/contact-form/ https://www.gallego.senate.gov/share-your-opinion/
Flatlander Report post Posted June 20 Gallego and Kelly are going to vote against this no matter what. They aren’t going to hand Trump a landmark piece of legislation like the BBB. If this stays in the senate bill and passes reconciliation it goes back to the house. After contacting senators, next step is house reps. Stanton is my rep he isn’t voting for this either. The approach I have taken is to post in every public place I can think of that this is unacceptable. That if republicans force this through reconciliation, it’s the nail in the coffin for the GOP in AZ. They’ve already lost so much support in the state that pissing off a huge portion of your base will be enough to suck all the momentum out of their sails and solidify the democrats stronghold. We need to put pressure on republicans to push back on this.

Viper Report post Posted June 24 Thank you to all that contacted your senators regarding this land grab. It's looking like the proposal may be struck from the Big Beautiful Bill...but there is still a few things that Mike Lee can pursue to get it back in the bill. Please watch this short, informative podcast with Randy Newberg that explains how this is shaking out and what we need to do next. https://youtu.be/1ymB4ESWqVc?feature=shared
