Youth Javelina 2017 is in the Books

Recommended Posts

My hunting partner went two for two on javelina this year with one in January and this one today. Next up for him, mule deer in three weeks. I don't draw tags, but he is kind enough to let me tag along.

He was insistent that for the first time, he carry his animal off the hill all by himself. There were no complaints or arguments from me!

Exactly!!!

The truck was only 1/4 mile away (we glassed them in the shade under a big mesquite tree while headed to the truck to move on to plan B ). So I wasn't to concerned about it being in that bag for long.

Good for him. That will be a sweet skull once he gets it all fixed up!

Congrats. I'm pretty sure my son will be fine with me carrying his off the hill until I'm senile.
