CouesWhitetail Report post Posted December 5, 2014 I just got off the phone with Ernesto and like Sundevil mentioned he has a herniated disk at his L5 veterbra. He now has to contact a back specialist/surgeon and get evaluated by the specialist to determine what his options might be going forward. But he is still in a ton of pain and the only way to avoid pain is for him to stay in a seated position. Walking, lying down and general movements are excruciating for him. tjhunt2 Report post Posted December 6, 2014 Ernesto, I will be praying for the good lord to ease you of your pain. It saddens me to hear what you have been going thru. If you don't mind I would like to share a similar situation I went thru in hopes to help you stay positive during this time. I was know where near your condition but in a lot of pain for years. I'll keep it short. I fell about 10ft off a rock chasing pigs. Never did find all my arrows. I landed mostly on my hard head so that helped some. I went for 2 or 3yrs taking cortisone injections because my doctor kept telling me it was nothing to worry about. It finally came down to where I couldn't work and the pain was like no other. I fired my doctor and went to Barrow Neurological Institute and found I had herniated a disk in my neck. I now have a titanium plate holding my neck together. It fixed my problem and got me back to living a painless life. I hope this helps keep you positive in hopes of some pain relief soon. Ernesto C Report post Posted December 7, 2014 Hello everyone, THAN YOU VERY MUCH for your prayers, please continue to do so because your prayers are working!! Last night was the best night I have had in the last 3 weeks!! I was able to fall asleep on or around 11 pm. At 2:00 am the pain on my lower left leg (the one that is killing me is horrible!) woke me up. I don't know how but some way I was able to fall asleep again around 3:30 am and slept straight to 7:00 am!! That is GOLD, LIFE, OXIGEN to me!! And the other good news that today the pain on my lower leg is been very minimal and sometimes almost gone! So PLEASE keep Praying because Good has been listening! The pain in my left butt cheek is still there but that doesn't compare to the pain in my lower leg. TJ, you are second person de tell me to go to Barrow Neurological. Also I was told to check from a coworker that was in my shoes 4 years ago the DISC (Desert Institute For Spine Care). I'm doing my research...but you know.. honestly.. I don't want to go to Surgery.. but the Drs. told me that that's my only option. Once I see an specialist he will let me know what my faith will be? So PLEASE yes! keep praying and you guys are the best!! I'm honored and feel humble and blessed to have friends like you guys in my life. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
