An Early Monsoon!?!

Recommended Posts

I got about 7 splatters on my windshield on 91st ave and the 10 a little while ago.

Sorry about that, I was driving down the road right there and my kid had to pee so I had him hanging out the window.

The models have been showing less and less rain each time they update it. Initially there was going to be 3/4" in the valley and up to 3" in the White Mountains. Now it looks like 1/4" in the Valley and about 1" in the high country...with wind and lightening.

If we can just get a little to buy us some time until the real monsoon kicks in, that would be nice. Born and raised here, it's always been after the 4th of July before things really get cranking.

Coconino NF twitter feed says there are "multiple" fires burning all along the Rim from lightening strikes. There is also one below the Rim just outside of Washington Park.

Those people in Blue Ridge can't catch a break. Not far from the Tinder fire. Here we go again.
