Saguaro Report post Posted February 6, 2019 It would be interesting to count how many arrows were actually in it. The first time I saw the tree was in 1998. I had a seasonal job with the FS out of the Clifton RD. There were a few locals from Clifton/Morenci that were seasonal as well. One of them told me that they would shoot an arrow at the end of the season if they didn't get anything. Also they said the idea is to hit as high as you could on the tree. KoosCrazy Report post Posted February 6, 2019 We were bear hunting below the rim one time, dogs trailed up towards the rim and treed. When I was walking up to the tree I started seeing arrows all over the place. It turned out the dogs treed the bear right where all the missed shots at the arrow tree were going.
