I made grouper piccata last night. But I’m down to my last package so I need to make a run.

I gotta start remembering to take the pics right so when I post them they’re not sideways.

but yeah, it’s great. I recommend trying a piccata sauce on tuna.

at least one boat doing 3 day trips is encouraging anglers to bring marauders and wire.  seems something other than humans and marlin are chasing the dorado schools.....

I have been seeing a lot of references to wahoo this season but we'll see. 2015 was the only time they have been in SD waters. That fish supposedly came from waters to the west near Hawaii not Mexican waters.

Several years ago trolling for sailfish in the Sea of Cortez we kept getting our ballyhoo baits nabbed and lines cut by something...we threw out a Maruader with wire leader...then someone got up in the crow’s nest and confirmed it was sharks not Wahoo molesting the troll:)

Got mako on a a trip one time but I didn't catch it. It was eating people's fish so the crew gaffed it! Insane. El Capitan, Captain Steve Peterson back around 2002 or 2003 probably. Caught my first tuna on that trip.
