The Dragon Bravo fire began as a small lightning caused fire within a few miles of the historical lodge on the north rim of the Grand Canyon and has grown to a 112,000 acre monster on the North Kaibab. Earlier this week, I went to the south rim to observe and photograph the fire for a few days. Intense fire formed a dramatic pyrocumulus cloud. Smoke settled into the canyon each night. The scenes were dramatic, beautiful, saddening, maddening and depressing to me- a mix of emotions.

Looking to sell this G34. I am the 2nd owner, and purchased it from the gunsmith who did the barrel, sights and trigger work on it. I've owned it since 2014 and rarely shot it. It's a Gen 3. Probably put less than 1000 rounds through it and the previous owner before me put even less as he was a friend of the smith so I got the rundown when I bought it. Upgrades include: Dawson fiber optic/adjustable sights, Bar Sto Match Target fitted barrel and Ghost Rocket connector & full trigger job. I don't know the weight on the trigger, but it's much better than factory. Asking $450 Located in the west valley Phoenix area - (303 / Northern). Cash / Pickup - no app pay etc. Will only sell to AZ residents 21+ CCW would be a bonus. PM me a phone number and we can chat about it, or answer any questions. Thanks!

Selling a Tikka T3X 22-250 with a 1-8” (fast twist) barrel, and Leupold VX-5HD 3-15x44mm scope. Some details… Rifle and Tally LW 30mm rings have a Duracoat FDE finish Tikka stock has a base Duracoat finish, then has been spray painted for some extra shapes, along with aftermarket recoil pad & 1/2” spacer, and modular “more vertical” hand grip Leupold VX5-HD scope has included dial set for Hornady ELD-M 75gr bullets moving at 3200 fps (have the original box for the scope) Tally lightweight 30mm rings Cheek pad (note that the stock was drilled for an adjustable riser at one point, so under the pad are two screw holes) Soft rifle case Also have about 100 rounds of the 75gr Hornady rounds loaded up with H4350 in Lapua brass. Can include the dies as well (have to have a special seating stem for these longer bullets, which I have). The ammo has full load data indicated on each box. Rifle has about 150 rounds through it. Nothing crazy volume-wise, as this was going to be a longer-range coyote rifle, and *maybe* a whitetail rifle. Asking $1100 for the package, FTF in the West Valley area. Need to have a valid AZ driver’s license, be over 18, etc. Not willing to ship, or part out at this time. Reach out with any questions. Thanks!

I fished it for 3 days in 2022 with a few different charters, and about a decade ago on a private boat. It's probably the most reliable Silver/Coho fishery in the Pacific NW and definitely the place to be for Albacore. We had a positive experience both times and will go back. Most recently we got a two room two bath at the "Ocean Avenue Inn" and it was about $140 a night...very affordable split four ways. It was about 7 minutes to the marina. We fished weekdays and one day was Coho/Rockfish with "Captain & Crew" charters. We limited the boat and it was a weekday so I think there were only 9 anglers total. The next day we get a private charter for 4 through All Rivers Coho & Chinook and also limited, including two nice 'Nooks. Last day was Albacore with All Rivers, mostly a boat ride but the trollers hit late in the day and a handful were landed. If you can get on the Albacore it will be a bloodbath. The captain on the tuna boat explained guys up there were just starting to flyline for Ably's (So Cal style) once the trolling rods pop and fish are on the line; but it's trolling until that happens. One thing that is frustrating about fishing up there for Coho is the native/wild fish release mandate. It's not uncommon to go 2:1 if not 3:1 or 4:1 for wild fish versus clipped hatchery fish. The mortality rate for released native fish in the salt isn't stellar, even when you do everything right. When you fish for lings tell them you want to use the copper pipe jig, it kills 'em. Bring your rain gear and rubber boots!

This not a safe queen and was used for lion hunts. It has my mark on it”RE”, has a small crack in the butt stock and has some scratches on the sides. The rifling and function are immaculate. It has some great stories to tell. Priced accordingly. Scabbard included.

It’ll be warm when you’re out there most likely. Especially for albacore, when you hit the blue water it gets like 20 degrees warmer.

Thanks for chiming in. I got us a cabin with a kitchen near the marina. I booked two trips with Mutineer Charters. One for Salmon and one for Albacore. I also booked with a local captain for a Ling/Rockfish trip between the two. All trips will be during the week. I have Grundon boots and he just ordered up bibs and coats. He has a pair of Huks. I don't mind being wet or cold but not both. Come to think of it after living in far north Maine a couple of miles from New Brunswick I don't like being cold. I have a 48qt AO softside cooler to bring back fish and maybe some other fish from Merinos.

If the spindle is serviceable, you can probably get everything you need to put it back together from Napa.
