I blew all my energy going back and forth with Curtis Reed. More wasted time arguing on the internet... lol. I don't feel like arguing anymore. Everyone have a great evening!!! I pm'd Curtis and apologized for my tone.

I'm already paying for a service, why pay more than the cost? Seems kinda ridiculous to me. If he's coming to my house and mounting it for me or something like that, well maybe but I think the best kind of tip I can give is word of mouth advertising.

Its always interesting to see where everyone draws the line on capitalism. Telling someone what he or she should charge for their products or service is just one step closer to socialism. Everyone is ok with staying home for months because of a virus with a less than 1% death rate, but staying home for 4 days because of a fuel shortage is the end of the world. Smfh

Well, I couldn't hold out for long. My best scouted ram is down. Not the biggest or oldest in the unit, but my lifetime desert bighorn was taken at 8:30AM on my 33rd birthday. Most of my hunting partners, as well as my dad and brother all had a heavy, contributing hand to make this one special. More to come, but for now..

In addition to my prospected bonus point pass on a late Coues hunt in a top tier unit. I'm (almost) speechless. Drew the 2nd tag on my 2nd choice, 41W. 9 points, I'm genuinely sorry to those guys with 25+. Clearly this was nothing more than a dream, but proof that dreams come true. From unit info to tips on just enjoying the once in a lifetime opportunity, if anyone can share anything at all, I really, really appreciate it. I look forward to sharing the journey with you.

My grandfather, George Richardson, has finally drawn his sheep tag! Gramps, as everyone calls him, has been putting in since the 60's with no luck and was a max point holder. Gramps has been on all 4 sheep hunts that my family has drawn through the years, and now it is finally his turn. Gramps turns 80 on Nov 1st and will be spending the month of December in 44BN chasing rams with his bow. My Gramps is in extremely great shape for any man, let alone an 80 year old, but this unit is going to be perfect for him. Lots of sheep, potential for big ramps, and plenty of archery conducive terrain. Can't wait! -Russ

I've had some in the drivers pocket in my truck for 15 years. Comes in handy after cleaning squirrels in the middle of nowhere. $6.99 a gallon? heck, why not an even $20? Seems appropriate when Core-Lokt's are going for $40 and primers are $125.

Honestly man, you should make a list with quantity, brand and price. If it takes too much time, then you really do not want to sell it anyway apparently. Maybe break it up into a couple different categories, pistol, rifle and post a little each day. Good luck with your sale and welcome.

There was NO LAW THAT SAID THEY HAD TOO. dude life would have sucked for you if your kid was born 30-50 years earlier, but it didnt for people back then when they didnt have baby wipes or hand sanitizer. Who the f uses hand sanitizer other than women and girly men

That person have any idea when they’re gonna run cards 😂 I hear you, there’s just always a way to be more effective. Here’s a pic of my CO muzzy antelope from this year. 250 yards with all CO legal. I’m good to 300 with it if the lighting is good.

Soooo because the muzzleloaders are too effective they’ll take the tags away and make the available to rifles which are more effective yet?

I just realized I never posted an update to this thread. Lame!................. My gramps killed his ram at 80 years old with his bow on the 3rd day of the hunt. This was his final animal to give him the AZ Big 10 with a bow. (That makes four of us in the family who have been able to do so!). It was an epic day to say the least.

Day 3 crawl out of the tent, I hear a vehicle with a loud exhaust racing up the road, I think oh great, I’m late again. As the vehicle got closer to camp I realize its most likely not another hunter as they were moving at a high rate of speed and blasting their radio. They drive by and go another direction than the way I was planning on going so I was relieved. 20 mins goes by, they come racing down the road again, weird. Then about 10 mins later 2 quads are coming down the road, I thought these guys were hunters, they go the way the other vehicle went. A short time goes by, these 2 guys on quads come back down the road. I don’t know who’s taking joy rides in the desert at 5am besides tweekers. Lol The 3 of us head out and get to our glassing spot. Mike spots a ram down low but loses it. Amanda finds a “dead” ram bedded in the rocks, wasn’t really dead, just didn’t move for a long time. I found 3 rams bedded together way up high. We decide we need to get a closer look. We get ready to make the stalk up the ridge with minimal gear. Amanda would stay behind staying in contact via radio while Mike and I went to get a closer look. We make the hike, everything is perfect, we get to where we thought we could get a shot off but from down below we couldn’t see there was a dip we would have to cross in order to see the rams. We had turned off the radio when we got into closer range, so Amanda was trying to get us on the radio asking us what we were doing walking right in front of the sheep. Well we crossed the dip, crawled to another rock outcropping going unnoticed by the sheep. Mike gets the spotting scope setup, I pick the ram I want, I get back in the rifle and cant find the ram. The ram had walked behind a tree putting him out of sight, Mike saw it but I didn’t. I was starting to get nervous, saying “I cant find it, where did he go”? There were 3 rams together so I didn’t want to shoot the wrong ram, I am already dialed for 405yds , just need the ram to walk out. The ram finally walks out, turns broadside, I squeeze the trigger, clean miss over his back. I reload the ram runs a bit closer looking down at us not knowing what just happened. I have the ram in my scope, squeeze the trigger again, ram flops over, “DEAD RAM”! I shed a few tears, I couldn’t believe what just happened. Mike calls Amanda on radio tells her ram is dead and to come on up. We take pics, skin and qtr ram and head down the mtn. with heavy packs getting back to camp at dark. I had many beers that night along with a shot of homemade whiskey that Amanda had brought along, we cooked up a piece of backstrap that night. It was a fun journey shared with family and friends. I wasn’t guided but I had help from a few different outfitter friends like Jay Scott, Craig Steele, and Eric Hunt. I have never met any of these guys before only exchanged messages but they were willing to help out. I have to thank Mike a ton, he was there from the beginning. Amanda came up on short notice and was vital to my success that day. Sorry for the long read if you stuck it out, Thank you!
