1/2" spurs 10.5" beard, I would think its a 3 year old. Either way there is nothing wrong with a 2 year old. I love 2 year old birds, easy to call in easy to kill. Only a pound or two lighter than older birds. I love it when I see lots of Jake's in one area because I know it will be a hot spot for two year olds the next year.

I am currently running the Falken Wildpeaks on three of my vehicles. I run the E all terrains on my dedicated hunting vehicle. I also have the same tires on my 3/4 ton Duramax, and a set on my pathfinder. I have tried about every tire on the market and these are by far the best for wear, ride quality, and work great off-road with no chipping, cuts, or flats. I tow a 5th wheel with my Duramax and the Falkens perform much better than my Toyo’s did. I had the BFGs on the Duramax for about two weeks just to try them, but returned them for the Falken’s.

We mainly use the bfgs on our work trucks and to say we spend a little bit of time on dirt roads is an understatement. They're expensive but they do seem to hold up pretty well.

I was able to get my turkey on opening morning. Something different happened on this hunt that I have never seen or heard of before. After I shot my turkey he is flopping around on the ground when out of nowhere a bald eagle comes dive bombing out of the sky through the trees and lands on top of my dead turkey and starts attacking him with his talons and beak. I guess he wasn't bothered by the gunshot I had just used on the Tom. Anyways I had to run quickly to scare him off before my dead turkey flew away.

Ive got a franchi affinity 3 in Marsh camo i think. I bought it new few years back. Operated flawless for a few dove seasons. I've got chokes with it and a turkey choke I think. $700. Can get pics if interested later.

Every spring I start looking by running fence lines. Usually pull a couple decent singles that way, then end up hiking all over looking for the matches. Lucked into these after a short walk this morning. Pictures really don’t do justice. Quick tape totaled up to 180 5/8.

Other than the argument crossbows aren't archery equipment what is the issue with a disabled person using an xbow during an archery hunt? Why are they less archery than a modern compound loaded with today's top of the line accessories? I've been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and other conditions that make it hard to hunt. It's tough to go from bench pressing over 300lbs to having difficulty even walking. I have never killed anything with a crossbow but when I get to the point I can't shoot a compound I won't hesitate to go crossbow.
