Due to transposing numbers in 2007 I ended up hunting a unit I had never heard of or seen as most of my hunting in AZ had previously been in 27 and 1! I was not at that time very "aware" of what was going on along the border but had my eyes opened during this hunt! I sent a copy of this to then Senator John McCain as I was appalled at the amount of trash in the mile of wash I hiked! Of course I didn't hear back. Another thread posed the question as to a wall or not............this type of activity is illegal and I am glad for the attention that the wall discussion has brought to government! Pictures don't do the amount of trash justice!

Nobody else gives a $hit because its not happening to their state. Round up all that garbage and drop it in the middle of their sanctuary city and let them deal with it.

Draysen (my son) and I spent every weekend and day off since January 1st chasing deer and javelina with our bows. We had more heartbreaking close calls than I want to think about, but never quite could close the deal. By the time the youth javelina hunt rolled around, we felt pretty dialed in on a few herds and just needed the piggies to cooperate. Kembria's first javelina hunt this past November was a new type of hunting "experience" for me, and tested my patience in ways I had not yet experienced. We had her lined up on so many pigs, so many times at close range, but it didn't work out. I took a lot away from that hunt about what my daughter needed from me to best help her, and about patience. We didn't make it out for the opener Friday morning, but were on road before 4:30AM Saturday morning. We got to the top of the mountain just as it was getting light and were treated to watch multiple groups of whitetail, including some solid bucks, as the sun rose. A little before 9:00 the herd of javelina showed up right about where I was expecting them. Kembria made a great shot from long distance. This particular area was not conducive to close shots. After hiking down to her pig, we took some pictures and I sent Draysen back up the mountain to another ridge to look for another herd. It was his turn, and I knew we would be a few hours field dressing and packing Kembria's pig out. The pack out was ridiculous! By the time Kembria and I got back to the truck with her javelina, it was around 2:00. We got her pig in the cooler and called Draysen to check on him. He had seen deer, but no javelina. So we came up with a new plan. It took him about 30 minutes to hike back to the truck. We jumped in and headed about 45 miles north to check on another herd. As we approached the area, Draysen jumped out with his rifle and pack to head up a ridge. Kembria and I headed about 1500 yards down the road to check out another ridge. We hiked up our ridge and proceeded to glass the area. The afternoon started to grow late and the sun was on the verge of dropping below the mountain. I then heard the gun shot and spun my binos back to the opposite ridge, about a mile away. I looked just in time to see my son holding his arms in the air victoriously. He had found a herd with his ears and had "woofed" them in. By the time he got a visual, this old boar, with teeth ground down to nubs, was at 36 yards for a quick shot. Kembria and I made our way to him, reaching him at the last bit of light. It was a great (and exhausting) day that didn't have us back to the truck with field dressed boar until a couple hours after dark. What a great day, but we are all three feeling the effects of it today! "The Crew" hadn't stopped all day to eat, so a late pit-stop at Taco Bell on the way home was definitely in order.

They’d look at it as a chance for a community recycling program sponsored by the USA government!

What you didn't find the tooth brushes in the tree, 36b is terrible, but your making this up, there's nothing going on down there, why would you make such an awesome video of lies. The forest service tried to give me a ticket 10yrs ago for burying poop paper. They didn't care about the illegal trash that the forest service has no want to pick up. Thanks for sharing, the truth hearts doesn't it, but some will say you made it up. Not. BUILD THE WALL AND BUILD IT HIGH AND THEN PUT ARMED BORDER PATROL THATS ALOUD TO SHOOT THE SCUM BAG COYETIES AND DRUG RUNNERS WHICH IVE SEEN MANY OF. Ok I'm ready for the woody bashing

I have been on a few hunts down there and each hunt we have seen or heard illegal traffic. We also have come across countless piles of trash (clothing, backpacks, water jugs, ect). Anyone who thinks there isn't a problem, should spend one hour walking around down there. I'll bet they will change their mind rather quickly.

In some places, you are 100% correct, a wall would be worthless. However, what about the the say 40 miles east and west of the Baboquivari mountains that are 100% wide open? A little Normandy style barrier to keep cars out, and a 4 strand barn wire fence is literally all we have protecting our country.

Think about this...drugs that cross our border are consumed within 30 days... Aliens that cross our border consume our resources for a lifetime!

This years Mexico trip was all about my son. I love my children more than anything and I cant believe how time flies. My oldest son is a senior in HS and only wanted to hunt and fish and so this is one of 2 or 3 trips we are going to take before he graduates. Hopefully one more hunting trip and a fishing trip in April. Thanks Jay for some of the pictures. And another great trip with great people. Video of lion dragging buck

How about a moat filled with pirana and alligators? Every LIBERACAL gets misty eyed when some ILEGAL immigrant tries to swim in and drowns on the Rio or the Yuma canal or dies of heat exposure in our deserts. But none tears up for our troops when they get blown up by a suicide bomber or other fanatic while defending other countries freedom in some sand blown shoot hole. . Idea, lets pull our troops out of these ungrateful countries and have then protect ours?

I'm kind with the "All three plus focus on those hiring illegals". At the same time, I really love the folks I've met up here who have come up, sometimes generations ago, legally and are amazing people who contribute greatly to our communities. In addition to "all of the above" I'd like to see a faster, cheaper track for those who are willing do immigrate here legally and want to work, and really assimilate. There are folks here ranging from leeches to downright dangerous, but no one culture has a monopoly on that - I guess to summarize, I'm all for keeping out the dregs and freeloaders (even exporting some of our own if we could) while making the process better for the ones who are willing and able to contribute, as many are.

Go to canyon lake on a holiday and tell me we don’t need a wall. I know that sounds like a joke, but seriously go and tell me we don’t need one.

Stiffen the laws? They already have plenty of laws that aren't enforced. What is adding more regulation, laws, etc... going to do?

Was able to spend some time visiting my friend Justo and his family down in Sonora. Always have fun exploring his ranch and looking for deer. Very thankful I was able to get this buck on the last day. The rut hadn't really gotten going full blast yet but some does were being chased. Keven
