I recently leased horses for a television production crew filming on BLM near Wickenburg. BLM gave them permission to film and did not ask for a permit due to the low impact and small footprint of the activity. They had a half dozen vehicles, a dozen crew members, us and our animals, drones etc. When the airing date approaches near, I may post again. Can't mention the show due to an NDA, but it's been on cable for years and seems pretty popular.

It took 22 bonus points for my son to draw a Goulds tag- one of my friends had a Rancher that he had helped with some work that had some birds on it that was going to let us hunt - well between the draw and the hunt the ranch sold and new owners wouldn’t let anyone on it. So we were at square one going into the hunt . however after looking at the map and talking to the same friends we found a spot we figured had some birds with public access - and were able to get it done opening day. That was after having a mountain lion trail us down a wash - and seeing the blackest rattle snake I have ever seen . And then on the way home that night seeing the big fire between Eden and Fort Thomas . Another great day spent with some of my boys . 10” beard - 7/8” spurs - typical Gould’s snowy white tips. if anyone can turn pictures lease feel free - I still havnt figured that out .

Lol, no but.im sure they're out there. Me and a buddy played bandits in a recreation of a gold heist. We found these great sombreros at Goodwill ahead of the filming. The director wasn't thrilled, we had to wear hillbilly headgear .

Private property and lions, must have been hunting in unit 32. I always wanted to hunt goulds there. Originally they transplanted turkey into the middle of the unit at powers garden using a helicopter and volunteers on the ground. I always wanted to hike in camp and hunt there. I put in there for years but with so few tags offered there is no bonus pass tags offered. Once I had enough points to draw a pass tag in another unit I quit applying there. Congratulations to your son on a nice Tom.

I got these a while back from a guy that had another gun I really wanted. I pretty much had to buy these 2 to get the other one. These are nice model 12 20 gauges. Both are 28" barrels. One is modified and one is full choke. One is made about 1936 and the other in 1949. I haven't fired them but they cycle ammo and seem to be in good shape. I'd like to sell them together if possible. Located south Tempe area. $900 for the pair.

I’ve got to admit, this choked me up. I lost two labs in 5 years , swore I was done with them and their short lifespan . Took in the red heeler since they’re supposed to live 15-16 years.., and found out he’s a psycho heeler. Will drive me nuts till I die probably… ended up adopting a bone head young lab from Desert Labs rescue . I’ve had two dogs for so long , seems empty without a one second raising cane.

That is the USFS just not wanting anyone in there. They are holding the lines pretty well the last 2 days with a lot of backburns ("firing operations" = apparently backburns is offensive) and dozer routes. The area in the map above is way, way bigger than the fire perimeter.
