Fishing was good yesterday... water temp was 75° and water clarity was 5-7 feet in mid lake and 3-4 ft in salt end. Very short windows for top water at first light, then a couple hour reaction bite before we switched to plastics. White chatterbait drug along the bottom worked well, and some drop shot with robo worms. Caught most of fish in 1 to 4 ft of water. Still fish on beds... no fry yet.

My son’s girlfriend asked if I’d help her sell this . I’ve had it in my garage for a couple weeks and don’t know much about it. She’s going to ASU and needs something more reliable and with better gas mileage. I’ve driven it around the neighborhood. She put about $2500 into it. Has new tires and seats . I believe its had an engine swap from a Mustang. Honestly have no clue what it’s worth but she’s asking $6000. Key chain alone has to be worth that

Spent 3-1/2 yrs in Grand Junction working oilfield. Four corners up thru Cortez, then Lizard Head Pass into Telluride. Going north from there you could take a right at Montrose and go up to Gunnison, then on to Buena Vista and Pikes Peak/ Colorado Springs or stay on 285 and right into the Denver area. Gotta warn you, the Front Range is where all the woke people are, nothing like the Western Slope.

Get your chance to hunt turkeys in Arizona 365 days. This is a state-wide raffle for a Commissioner's Turkey Tag, good for any open turkey unit. Make sure and check the regs because the Rio units in NW AZ are closed for now. $20/chance https://www.naznwtf.org/product-page/az-commissioner-s-turkey-tag-raffle

We're getting it good in SV, hope y'all will too. Fair amount of lightning though so hope we don't get anymore fires. Couldn't say how much so far but we had a good soaking and another one is coming through now.

I doubt their P&L's are made public or if sales from permits even cover salaries or administration costs. I'll let you dwell on your last question.

Look for a Hobart Handler 140(110v) or 190(220v) used. Same parent company as Miller...very similar machined...less money. My Miller 212 just crapped the bed and I went Hobart MP. Saved a lot and just as good as the Miller or Lincoln from most accounts. If you decide to go Stck I have a Hobart Tombstone I'd let you borrow to mess around with and buy if he gets hooked. I have a Bobcat 250 so I don't really use it.

I’ve heard of people eating turtle, I haven’t but love frog legs, so why not. Those soft shells can bite wicked bad too tho, had one slice a bluegill in half when we we were messing with it when we were kids… learned to watch our fingers with them

My folks had a ranch up there on the East Fork where Fish Creek joined it… we used to hit Groundhog every time I went to visit. Those rainbows were fat and almost blood red inside like a salmon.
