I was in the Army with the 82nd Airborne Division when those ragheads took over our Embassy in 1979. I was still in when the Green Beanies went over there on that failed rescue mission. That's when things got serious, but Jimmy Carter didn't have the balls to do anything about it. I was in the Az Army National Guard when those ragheads bombed the Marine barracks in Beirut. I watched Obama and Biden send them pallets of cash. Now Trump is sending them ordinance. Do you think I care you you have to pay a little more for gas? The only down side to this is from my point of view if 10-15 years down the road if some service members picture shows up KIA in Iran and it was all in vain.

Every president we’ve had in my lifetime has been on the same team, they just wear a different colored tie. It’s mostly Pete Hegseth I don’t trust. I’m sus he’s pushing Trump the wrong direction. Pete is a member of CREC brand of churches, which bothers me even more. Catholics, Muslims, and Presbyterians should never be in power. They all think they have a god given mandate to rule the world and convert by force. Probably all stemming from Augustine’s poor theology.

This thing is gonna tailspin out of control. I voted for lower taxes, trimming the fat, and no wars. It looks like I got none of it. Accountant just let me know that my effective tax rate went up yet again (just like last Trump term). Was hoping the DOGE cuts woulda gone somewhere other then into another war, but it looks like just another politician doing whatever they need to to keep Israel from spilling whatever beans they have on them. Dems will have it all back within 4 years. Oh well, my part of the world is heavily reliant on Ag and oil and this is always good for both I guess.

Operation Epic Fury should have occurred December of 1979. Obama administration freed up 400 billion thinking Iran would not pursue a nuke, lol. Here we are. Better late than never.

Every other president seemed to agree that Iran shouldn't have nukes but none of them was willing to actually do something about it at least Trump has balls big enough to make big moves like that and I think long-term it will be a good thing.

All about money and feeling smug, righteous and better than everyone else, including family all the while acting humble. The Donald cares about nobody except maybe Barron when he was younger and will probably throw him under the bus too, someday. He talks a good line, people yearn to hear it in desperation hoping for the promise of no taxes, controlled immigration and prosperity but it will never happen, ever. No matter who is ever elected. Some States have no State Income Tax and some have very low sales tax. The government needs to figure out how to implement that nationally. Watch Diesel, it adds cost to everything, which just is passed on to the consumer. Crude up 20% in a week. LOL. How many innocent people Trump is supposedly liberating have to die in Iran on his way to victory? Probably killed more civilians this week than the Ayatolla did in six months and displaced thousands with random bombings to people who struggle to have a roof over their head and feed their kids and elderly parents. They were better off two weeks ago, He will do the same thing his buddy Vladimir is doing in Ukraine in Iran and in the end nothing will really change. Great time to work for Raytheon, lots of overtime.

A complete list of my thoughts would get this thread chucked but for anyone who voted for Trump, the sumbitch is just doing what he said he’d do. It’s not pretty for sure I know that I’m not the only one that thought when he was campaigning about neutralizing Iran that oil most definitely would be affected and people were going to just freak.
