I didn’t know it was possible to have differing opinions on CW and not get into a pissing match

@Desertguide, much respect to you for having a different perspective and being polite about it. Sadly many different opinions end in low blows and name calling here. It sure is refreshing to have an intelligent debate rather then a name calling argument. Ill be the first to admit i have been guilty of it.

After failing to locate any birds yesterday I was able to get a bird to gobble from are camp just after dark. This morning we set up on him and by 5:35 bird down he came in right off the roost put on a little show for us and Tessa made a 20 yard shot to seal the deal what a great hunt.

I did make it home today, but with a broken motor. But I did shoot a turkey, so it’s all good. David

A right winger would respect the right of a business to run it as they wish. Dont like it, dont shop there, its that easy. I am sure they will sue and get some settlement. Thats the new agenda. I used to go to a certain store almost daily after work. One day I got kicked out for no mask (about July of last year) the store a block away, same owner and franchise! Let me slide when I forgot to throw in the mask. Guess which store gets my money now? Wasn’t a big deal that day in July, I just walked out and never returned. I’ve done that at several places. The places that I absolutely have to patronize that require a mask..... I wear one.

Sucks, I work for a large company that has all kinds of special rules. Recently missed out on what looked like a great fishing trip in Mexico because they won't let me travel internationally without burning 2 weeks pto upon arrival back to the states. Sure it sucks, but my option is to pack up my tools and switch companies or suck it up.

He asked politely, supermom wanted to make a point and she lost. She straight turned her back on him and blew him off like he was snot on the ground. If you did that to my kid you would regret it for sure. BUT! The difference is I'm not a pius a$$hat that thinks I'm above the rules. If it was that big of a deal I would leave the store and not give you a reason to drag my entitled little brat out (yes I'm assuming entitled based on mom's actions). Just like when a cop tells me to not fight, or stop punching him or drop the weapon or what the heck ever I would actually comply instead of doing the opposite so that later I don't have to run around acting like a victim when I got my dumb butt shot.

Yup never lay hands on a kid is a general rule. Problem is, some kids, not this one, dont act like kids anymore. Where is the cut off in age to let a kid slide? He should have grabbed that mom and yanked her butt out. Since the mom did not lose her shoot and go full Mike tyson on him, im guessing she isn't a good mom anyway. I would never put my kids in that position, just wouldn't do it. If I did, id hope no one had a video, showing me being a pile of SHITT.

I also agree its arbitrary. I also think they are negligable. But still mandated and up to the individual business. Truth be told, i try to get away without wearing it all i can. But if im asked to put it on i will because imo, its not worth the argument with people. Ironically we agree and disagree.

Its been a crazy year. Im also not trying to get into a pissing match with you. But at the end of the day if people just did what was asked of them in a place where the people asking have a right to do so a lot less of this crap would happen. If i take myself out of this equation i think the mom is a turd and could have prevented it. The knee jerk reaction of me as a dad is certainly different but still not necessarily the right one.

For what its worth my wife agrees with you. And you are right he shouldnt have done what he did. The problem i see is when people think they are above the rules. Whether its one of these stupid masks or something far more important. Yeah i would be laying the guy out before he made it to the door. But that is my automatic knee jerk reaction as a father, but at the end of the day my knee jerk reaction doesnt actually make me in the right.

As if he wasn't asking politely to begin with and she wasn't completely blowing him off because she's oh so important. Another gotcha on cam moment. The left does the same thing when a black person doesn't comply, fights an officer and then gets shot. Then we here what great law abiding people they were.
