True. It doesn't seem to take much. Spent break time today trying to find tune my sight with the new release. Feeling good for the am. Saw my target at first lite. Positioned myself for the interception and he never showed up. Saw him tonight as well but too close to private. Saw another shooter I've not seen before. He's officially option #2. Got an hour or so before work tomoro. See what happens...

It's worth north of $500. Someone pay him more than he is asking so you can sleep at night.

Been hitting the duck hunting hard this year. Haven't killed anything super cool, mostly widgeon, a few mallards, and green wing teal. Got this beauty Sunday and wanted to share.

For sale is a Ruger security six bicentennial model. It comes with a custom leather holster, hogue grips and 400-500 rounds of ammo. Asking 700 for the package. Would consider trading for a bolt rifle or a Glock 43x mos.

I got my calendar yesterday in the mail.I figure if I'm going to chase them I might as well support groups that are trying to keep us hunting them.

My buddy was shooting 1 moa at a hundred yds .I've shot it to 2 hundred and it will hold just over moa. I want to run full bore bullets like the arrow head or pittman as they say the skirt on the powerbelt has a negative effect on accuracy. That was the problem with some of the 45 cal optimas and accura models. The skirt had varying thickness and would screw up the bullet flight.

Someone got a great steal there !! Ruger tang safety rifles where known to be hit or miss due to poor barrels .But if you find a shooter they are usually great as ruger figured it out and improved there quality. I've got one in 338 win .

March and April is right. If you go mid/late March you'll see a lot of bulls still packing, usually smaller ones. Bigger bulls will drop first.

Nice responses Mark! I do think there is a market for that tripod or Gitzo would be out of business. Not everyone's wallets are the same in life. I won't be a buyer, but not because I think you are ripping guys off, I am just happy with my current setup. Some of the remarks in this thread are comical. I am sure this tripod will sell.

Definitely not a hater of the products. They are great. I don’t consider myself thin skinned either. However I will never spend money at an establishment that doesn’t appreciate the customer. Mark, impressed with your dedication to ensure the issues are corrected. I’ll put it the test. I will stop by sometime in the next few months, if all goes well I’ll buy the window mount that I’ve been eyeing for a few years. Maybe another pistol grip while I’m at it.

With a little luck, and a little bit of magic in the mountains I was able to take this beautiful tom this morning. At first he was hesitant to commit to coming in but after calling to him for about 30 mins I was able to connect on him at 27yards. Hid beard measured at 10 inches and his spurs where just over an 1 1/4".
