On vacation in Yellowstone but we got to sneak away for a morning fishing trip. We let my son and nephew do most of the catching but we all caught some. Biggest was 27in and the smallest was probably 18in. We kept 10 "good eating " size fish according to our guide. The scenery makes it worth the trip! Fishing posts are worthless without pics so here are a few.

Last night's dinner. Elk stew meat ground into burgers (mixed in about 25% beef fat trimmed from a brisket I smoke a couple of weeks ago), plus grilled sweet potatoes. Went with lettuce wrap style because I'm trying to keep my carbs low. Was VERY good but concluded that burgers are WAY better with a toasted buttery bun!

Game and fish should put the value of the loss of this BIGHORN at the average price over the past 5 years of the governors tag. This should cover the the loss of the sheep, not including expenses of the G&F for investigation and prosecution.

Looking to sell my Spanish-made, 16ga boxlock ejector double gun. Fit and finish is quite good. Side-by-side, 27.5” barrels - one improved modified / one improved cylinder. Made by Zabala Hermanos in Eibar, Spain sometime in the mid 1900s - this shotgun is in nice, second-hand condition and would make a great addition to someone’s quiver.

What's the worm used for in beer making? I've only seen it used for distilling hard stuff.

The boats are big so everyone fishes at the same time. Seaforth is great with plenty of parking and would be my recommendation. Close to Sea World and Motels. If you don't have tackle you can rent it at any of the landings as they all have a tackle store and renting is very common. Usually each boat will have 2-3 Mates to help you and there will be a galley with a cook. I would do boat trip too just for the experience. Ask your doctor to get you a prescription for a scoploimine patch and put it on the night before so you don't get seasick. https://www.sportfishingreport.com/charter_boats/newseaforth.php https://www.sportfishingreport.com/dock_totals/

I’ll stay on the rock and glass. (Currently watching a few prospect rams) I Would like to see pioneer license holders get the opportunity to knock some sheep in the dirt. (Heck I wish they could do it as a population management hunt) It’s a golden opportunity for some deserving folks. Wish they had more tags for the older generations to live out there dreams.

That would not qualify as a one horned ram. AZGFD labels a one horned ram as having one horn less than half the length as the other

I went in October to DMV in Tempe. Got there 20 minutes before they opened and was in and out in 10 minutes. Had my new license 6 days later and kept my original one in the meantime.

I'm on board with a good super bowl get-together. A good reason to chill at home & cook and have my kids and other family/friends come over for some fun. I'm not that into it, but I do enjoy a good game (which this one wasn't much of.... LOL). As for the half time shows, I just straight-up don't really care who performs and for what reason. If I'm not interested, then I'll just ignore it and chat with my people or do whatever. Sort of like I ignore a bunch of other stuff in everyday life that really doesn't concern or impact me.
