“Hey, look everyone, I am a pedo but only got 5 years in prison with a little probation when I am released! See, I told you that I’m not so bad after all!! Don’t you guys look stupid now!?”

Point guard is BS. When you put in for a tag you take the risk something happens leading up to your hunt. You lose your tag big frikin deal. People are turning tags in for weather, bad moisture years, not finding a shooter animal, and other stupid reasons. If you draw and don’t go then let it be. Either go hunting or don’t and make the best of it. Too many sissy hunters now days wanting it all perfect for them or their hunt.

Apparently, it isn't too hard to catch a poacher, if you think like a poacher...

https://outdoorsmans.com/collections/tripod-accessories/products/outdoorsmans-adapter-plate Your current setup will work, all you need is the adaptor plate to attach to your spotter. You may want to consider a balance plate: https://outdoorsmans.com/collections/tripod-accessories/products/1-4x20-balance-plate

I get my jerky from Dee Dee's Finest Beef Jerky in NM. Not like any other jerky I have had. Paper thin, crunchy at first, then melts in your mouth. Awesome flavors too. I always order 6 packs at a time. Buy 4, get 1 free. I have tried most of the spicier flavors. Green chili, red chili, chipotle, and jalapeño are my favorites. Caribe chile is good too. The habenero is insanely hot. Great taste, but have to eat it sparingly. They have a lot of the staple flavors too.

Poaching is kinda like people shooting multiple animals on a hunt and not recovering them. Didn’t some dude arrow like 8 bulls in unit 9 last year and kept going? Not saying it’s poaching but kinda. Your taking wildlife and not tagging it. Gotta stop at some point.

Statistics say and prove pretty accurate that serial poachers will not stop. The arrogance involved wont let them. He’ll get caught again long before the 10 years is up.

You dont need a license to hunt his way of hunting.

Who thinks this won’t stop him from killing animals any more than gun control laws have stopped Chicago shootings?

You guys are cracking me up like in waiting for the kill to finally die. 🤣

If that was the max sentences, what would you have to do to get lifetime?

If you kill what/how ever you want. Do you really even need a license?

I actually agree with this 100%. It fIt THAT crime. What about the other 5 counts? 5 years each sounds about right, maybe 10 for the powerline buck. As long as they are served consecutively, not concurrently. Should have added an obstruction count too for the OTHER 4x5 200+" buck he admittedly poached as well, you know, the one that "the coyotes ate".

I don't want to speak for Kevin, but I would just assume he is re-doing it or upgrading it. Kevin is a great guy. No worries. Just a quik edit. Juust got off of the phone with him. He shut it down for personal reasons. As far as not getting ahold of him, here is his info: Kevin Whitmore deadontaxidermy@yahoo.com 9285513531 Hope this helps. As someone who has been screwed by one two many "taxidermist" I understand your concerns, and didn't mean to downplay your concerns. I know him and respect him very much. Just defending a friend
