We didn’t have a forest service LEO for awhile up here. Recently got one back full time so far so good multiple people have turned in piles of trash that were dumped in the woods and he was able to trace it back and cite the people doing it cuz they literally dumped their mail with it. He moved in right around the corner from me seems to be making an impact already.
My 17 year old daughter drew a unit 7 rifle tag on her first application (plus Hunter Ed point). I thought for sure it was mine when cards hit as the computer odds had me about 1/30 and she was at 1/250. Happy for her for sure but know how frustrating it is for those who have been putting in so long without success.
Wanted to share a short video I just put together of our 2024 hunts. Not much to it...5 kills and a couple missed shots. I'm still getting over the miss on that last buck. Missing a buck like that will give a hunter nightmares for the rest of their life. I'm just glad it wasn't me doing the missing for once 😜
GpaBobo is getting the bear is the first part of the statement, then thanks Couzer (a really great guy), was the second part. I assume khmer6 is related or a close friend of GpaBobo.
If I interpreted this wrong, please correct.
I watched some guys trying to stalk antelope behind one of those in 19a years ago. It was comical. I didn’t actually think anyone actually bought those things. In all seriousness, it looked literally like a mirror shining in the sun from the front. The antelope actually approached them to about 200 yards trying to figure out what the heck it is and then hauled out of there
I've used a ghost blind before. I like them. Not as good a fully enclosed ground blind because your head is above the blind, so it's a bit hard to get your bow drawn, but with a cross bow I think it would work great. Just make sure you get the blind angled down enough so it is just reflecting the ground in front of it. I had many deer come in while I was using it and they never thought twice about it.
I would encourage you to go to East Valley Tactical’s suppressed range day at Ben Avery on 3/22. Many companies will be there and you can try out their suppressors. It’s a good opportunity to try before you buy, plus it’s just a good time.
Yes Doug and Neal at cameraland are great to work with. Just tell them you saw thier ad off CW. They can give better deals than what is listed on thier site.
Just a fancy F'r for sure! Family and friends have/had restaurants where I helped out and learned. Will say learned a ton from my mom.
I really love cooking and trying different things.
