I was able to get my turkey on opening morning. Something different happened on this hunt that I have never seen or heard of before. After I shot my turkey he is flopping around on the ground when out of nowhere a bald eagle comes dive bombing out of the sky through the trees and lands on top of my dead turkey and starts attacking him with his talons and beak. I guess he wasn't bothered by the gunshot I had just used on the Tom. Anyways I had to run quickly to scare him off before my dead turkey flew away.

Girly man…. I grew up playing with snakes we caught, bitten many times .,hardest part was disengaging from the rear facing teeth so you didn’t hurt the snake. The pics looks lots like the yong gophers I find, I guess I haven’t encountered a night snake yet. The young king snakes are the grouchiest as far as biting that I find, but they all eat the vermin so they get a free pass . The buzztails , not so much . Too many panic snake killers in the world …

Night snake. Mildly venomous rear fanged. Really cool docile snakes. I'll find him a place way out in the desert tomorrow away from all you sissies afftaid of snakes.

I'm pretty sure felons can obtain an AZ hunting license as they're legally allowed to posses and use archery equipment.

I have a nice bill of sale I will share with you. I'm not an attorney nor am I giving you legal advice, but when you read it it covers most all of the bases. If you don't feel comfortable selling to somebody, don't sell it. There are many good guys on here and you can only background check so far. A lot of us have current CCW permits, and that's not a guarantee, but there are a lot of good guy's that don't have CCW permits. Also, Felons are pretty much prohibited from getting a hunting license. You can ask the buyer if they possess a current hunting license and have them show you that.

I have never seen one of these guys in AZ. Seen them all over NM. Was hiding in my sprinkler box.

Young gopher snake… totally harmless. And very beneficial to have around. Hopefully you got a whole brood to eat the vermin at your place .

Hey Brother, Bruce! I've done the bill of sale to cover my tracks multiple times and never had a problem and I ask for a CCW, which is usually good enough for me. I know a few of what you're selling will go quickly here, especially that Tikka T3 in .308! You know I'll help you anyway I can!

I’ve had similar concerns when thinking I might sell one…just one of the reasons I keep accumulating and not liquidating. 😁

I confirm theyre a resident and not a prohibited possessor. I dont ask for much else usually since that is all that is required. I also dont buy from people if I know they take down my personal info. If my CCW isnt enough then I will pass. I have had the UofA police call me once because I sold a pistol to a young kid and he let his younger brother carry it around. THey just wanted to confirm I sold it to the brother. Luckily I remembered.

First off welcome to The forum and asking a question that's not asking where you should hunt when you suddenly drew a tag is super okay with everybody here I'm pretty sure. I would simply require them to show you a driver's license and you write it down and complete a bill of sale print out two copies he keeps one or she and you keep one. There was a post here a couple years ago where a member had sold a firearm to someone and that person ended up killing themselves with that firearm family didn't really go after the guy per se but it definitely made him feel like he had a cloud over his head from what I remember. Just do your due diligence and make sure their ID matches them and they sign everything and that is your legal obligation as far as I understand it.
