He did meet God when he took off after one yote and then there were three… got a lesson in mortality and a hamstring bite in the process. He came out of a shelter, had been beat to crap and back, would roll over and piss on himself if I raised my arm to put or take off a hat for the first 6 months we had him. Good thing is no one wants to have holidays at our place now, so I get off EZ. Crazy loyal, and crazy smart. Makes our dumb new lab look like an even bigger idiot . This is exactly why I sold my sxs. Owned 2 of them and sold them both for same reason. So what I can’t make it to the glassing spot or hunting area 5-10 min sooner. I can get anywhere a sxs can w my gen 3 4Runner or gen 1 sequoia for a fraction of the price of what sxs cost now and all my expensive gear /glass/rilfles are dust free and always protected. Plus ac and heater and can have a conversation w my passengers. And no more loading and unloading a trailer. Not a sxs hater but just got tired of them.
