Man... its super slow in this place anymore, thought I would share a couple pic's from my recent endeavors. Hunted the late rifle and then stayed for the OTC archery. Killed a decent buck with the gun, rut was slow but we saw some great deer, watched a giant get killed, couple good one's gave us the slip. Archery hunt, the deer never really got going until the day before I left, saw a couple amazing bucks, just couldn't get it done. Had a great time with some buddies, also enjoyed a few days solo.

Been hitting the duck hunting hard this year. Haven't killed anything super cool, mostly widgeon, a few mallards, and green wing teal. Got this beauty Sunday and wanted to share.

Like a regular day archery hunting when the shooter is Kev I guess. The buck fever was real, hope I didn't turn him nocturnal. There are 2 runner ups in the area so will see what happens.

Extremely clean Ruger 77/22 hornet. This rifle looks and shoots great. This is about as clean as they come I believe I have a second magazine I will include as well. Rifle is wearing a leupold Vari X 2-7 compact scope. I have 200rds of 22 hornet ammo they are reloads with 35gr Vmax and lil gun powder that go with it. Awesome set up for varmint hunting or predators. Located in NM I can ship to your FFL or will be in the valley next week to do face to face. Thanks for looking. Asking $1200

Jack White did the first one of these that I ever saw back in the 70s for my uncle. @MogollonTaxidermy recreated it for me. Jack did the best pig rugs.

Even though I will probably never draw a tag in my lifetime, I love seeing these guys. They are such amazing animals. This is a 24B ram, and not one that you’d see from one of the lakes. He looked to be a really good ram. Hopefully the video uploads with good clarity. IMG_1288.MOV

We raise several breeds of ducks and fowl for meat and eggs. The Muscoves are easy keepers and pretty quiet..lots of meat and eggs out of them.

Wanted to bring this question back up. I actually went in there and found some sheds they were old and not the size i was expecting but those bulls are there. When i saw them in early august they were still in velvet and pretty dang big. They were still together and didnt break off yet for any rut like behavior . My question is now do u think there is a chance they will be there for late rifle season in December? Seem to be there august and then back shedding there antlers in march and thru august.i am guessing i have a chance just want to see what you guys think

Anyone who get's off clubbing animals in the head for kicks has serious issues.... Regarding "AZ fish and wildlife...", it looks like the article was quoting the school Athletic Director.

To bring my closure on this thread… I can’t be happier with the service, turn around, communication, and final presentation. Here are two rugs done by Andrea’s Custom Rugs.

My step son delivers for Uber Eats. He says over half of the customers he delivers to order McDs. Yes, talk about lazy. To lazy to go to the McDs drive through? Pitiful

Need to check the tune on your bow. Shoot a barshaft and see if the arrow is hitting at an angle. Had a few friends with this issue. Once we got the bows tuned this stopped happening. Also make sure the arrow spine is not too weak. A stiffer arrow will apply less side leverage on impacts and has a thicker wall. Easton and gold tip are very durable arrows. Carbon express is less durable in recent years, while easton improved durability. All are durable enough for pigs and deer. Heavy boned critters gold tip and recent easton are awesome. Victory and black eagle arrows are slightly less durable than gold tip and easton but better than carbon express. Inserts and quality of glue can also matter. Longer inserts will spread out the shock of impact. Glue/epoxy needs to be a variety that's not brittle.
