Colt Grill & BBQ in Prescott Valley is legit.
I woke up in the morning not knowing I would enjoy the best barbeque of my life that day.
Everything on their smoked meat platter was on point that visit.
The ribs were cooked perfectly; the pulled pork was juicy, the brisket was tender & not over-smoked, the turkey was moist, and the brat sausage had great flavor.
I know my next visit will not be perfectly the same, but I intend to visit again and again.
Now that I trolled nearly everyone on this thread and triggered alot of 1st time otc elk hunters about giving up too much info, I will shut up now. Y'all gave me an idea.
I couldn't believe it when I saw the $90 hit on my card this year. I knew it was my best change to draw with a unit that has had 0 hunts in the last 4 years, hoping people didn't notice there were new tags or not wanting to put in if the herd had declined that much to take tags away. Either way I was lucky enough to draw my first antelope tag. With only 1 archery hunt before and only 1 other hunter seems like we'll be able to have the place to ourselves. I can't wait to get out scouting as I've never really had the chance to watch antelope other than seeing them off the sides of highways. If any one has tag number 1 or knows them, DM me so we can hopefully stay out of each others way on the hunt. Good luck to everyone else lucky enough to draw an antelope tag this year!
With the elk draw complete there's got to be kids needing a rifle to hunt with. Enter them to win one of the giveaway guns in the youthgungiveaway. You know they don't want to use your big boomer guns. I'm giving away a 7-08 and a 308 in this year's giveaway. It's open to all Arizona kids with a hunter safety enter at

All lower case ^^^^^^^!!!
See the contest and giveaway section for pictures and rules. It's super easy and free!!
It's posts like these that screw it all up. Whatever happened to just getting a tag and going and not needing someone to hold your hand like a child and spoon feed you info?
Good luck. There have been transplants in their I think from Utah . Which are not known for good genetics. I thought about putting in for this hunt for your same reason only 1 tag prior to your hunt and 2 for rifle, but didn’t want to burn 29pts due to trophy quality . I think you’ll have no problem finding a 70 inch buck. Anything close to 80 will be challenging to slim. But only scouting will tell.
Yeah, cause you're so ancient...lol. I enjoy my time outside as well, sitting on my butt or in a boat seat... and walking, aka hiking, when necessary. But , feel free to" take a hike", and I mean that in a friendly way!
I'm sure it does and we just don't really hear of it, I had a buddy that worked for ADOT over by Ash Fork and he always had crazy stories, I bet the RR isn't any different!
Have a built 454 cam dual intake with 2 4bbl carbs turn key complete with the headers . Im doing a LS swap is the only reason for selling $4500 the 2spd power glide transmission is included . Hear it run before i pull it .
Peregrine falcons reach up to 200mph in their dives, but they aren't considered land animals. That category is for animals that are pedal (bipedal or quadrapedal) in motion.
As a long-time studier of evolutionary biology, I can confirm that the pronghorn antelope is, in fact, the 2nd fastest land animal in North America. The fastest land animal in North America is the person ball-pointing while running to the bathroom!
Sorry, I couldn't help that one. I'll sit in timeout now.

To say my hunt turned out to be great would be an understatement. It was one of the best experiences ever, from scouting to the time laying hands on my ram. Memorable to say the least especially with just my nephew, grand nephew and I getting I done. So quick a run down… ram was aged at 8, but with the gnarly bases G&F said he could be 9+ but couldn’t tell for sure. Ram scored 174. One circumference landed in the bad spot in his horn which kept him from scoring higher but that just adds great character to the ram. His good side measures 91”. Oh in the last pic with grand nephew, the road that goes through the saddle, that saddle is where I shot from
