Had a great opening morning with my son. Birds were vocal and responsive to calls. Came in gobbling just after fly down. My son was patient waited for the right opportunity and made a great shot.

ITM Arms MK99 AK 47. Got this from a buddy 20 years ago. Shot it a little bit then it sat in safe. Magpul furniture, Sig Romeo, Surefire suppressor adaptor, 6 steel mags, two Magpul mags, about 1900 rounds of ammo. Must pick up in east Mesa, be an AZ resident and not a criminal. $1200 CAN SPLIT THINGS UP IF RIFLE SELLS FIRST HK SL-8 with Tommy built Tactical PSG-8 conversion. The conversion switches the lower to a grip, adjustable stock, and the use of AR fire controls. These are no longer available. Tommy Built Tactical has shut down. It has a Giessel SSA trigger in it. It only takes 10 round magazines unless the magwell and bolt are replaced. It also has a Tommy Built Tactical rail that is higher than factory. This has never been fired. It will come with 2 mags all the factory parts, manuals, case, etc. The rail on the bottom of the for end is not the correct one. There is nowhere for the rear bolt. By the time I realized this the return policy on HK parts had expired. This is ONLY .223, no 5.56. $2000 Remington 870 Express Magnum. Blackhawk furniture. I bought this about 25 years ago. Its been a fun and reliable gun, but I want to upgrade to a semi auto. Probably needs to be broke down and cleaned, but it still functions flawless. $400. This late snow reminds me of a time when i was hunting turkey in the manzano mountains in nm. They stayed quiet until about 9am and then it seems like they finally warmed up and they were on fire. My cousin shot a double that day with one shot.

We're in the same boat with the snow, except maybe 8-10". Quick Google search says they may stay in the roost and behave more sluggish, we didn't hear a gobble today.

Totally agree with this. The Game and Fish's MO is to make something an option for a few years, then it becomes mandatory. They did this with the Portal.

I bought the same gun in 7 PRC and really love it. I wanted a few mods to my stock and the Seekins customer service is truly amazing.

Just roosted a few birds. Was pretty cool got them to shock gobble and then walked down this old log road closer to them and they flew from ridge to my left and all landed in different trees above me. Weather might not be good but i know the tree they are in so we will see how it goes. Seems like maybe five toms gobbling from the trees so my fingers are crossed for my daughter.

Stay away from state farm if you ever need to use it for the home. Think they are told deny everything!

I could be wrong but if memory serves me correctly based on the game and fish presentations, archery success was around 11%-13% and hunters hunting with crossbows during OTC archery hunts was around 33%. This was part of the argument made for removing crossbows from all the archery hunts. As more archery units go to draw it just forces archers to move to fewer remaining OTC hunts. Thus, you will see more units go to draw. Some units are more conducive to road hunters. I predict you will see 20A go to draw in a year or two as well. I'll admit, once G&F required mandatory reporting then started publishing the actual numbers of deer taken during OTC hunts, I was very surprised. Most the mule deer units get hammered. Call me whatever you want but I have always believed there should be no OTC opportunities for NR's. AZ just doesn't have the numbers of animals to allow this. Human population in this state is growing at 1 million every 8-9 years yet our animal populations are decreasing or staying same. Then throw in uncontrolled wolf numbers, feral horses/burros, drought and loss of habitat. Somethings got to give.

Hands down, the worst run agency. They make USAid look like a model of efficiency and accountability.
