Mike Lee R-UT, by way of Trump's Big Beautiful Bill. The best way to kill it will be to make sure that the BBB can't pass with it in there. Montana already negotiated an exclusion from federal land sales in this bill so their senators will vote for sales elsewhere, but not at home. What a crock. We need to make sure that Trump and any republican with an aspiration for something higher knows we will not let this stand. That if they ever want a vote from a hunter, they better take this out. I mean, they could propose to develop Mount Graham. What a crock.

Here is what I came up with some help from chatGpt: Dear Senator Kelly, As a proud Arizona native, lifelong outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, and conservationist, I am writing to urge you to remove the public land sale provision currently included in the Big Beautiful Bill. The sale of public lands in the 11 Western states would have a devastating and irreversible impact. These lands are not just scenery — they are our heritage, our refuge, and the backbone of countless traditions, livelihoods, and ecosystems. Selling them off to the highest bidder, regardless of the intended use, opens the door to development that will erase these landscapes forever. Once sold and developed, they are lost — not just to Arizonans, but to all Americans. This land is not surplus. It’s the essence of the American West — the very thing that sets our nation apart from the rest of the world. Our vast, open, and shared landscapes are a legacy to be protected, not privatized. I voted for President Trump and support much of the administration's work. However, the inclusion of this public land sale is a non-negotiable deal breaker for me and many others who value our public lands. This issue transcends party lines — it’s about preserving what is uniquely and irreplaceably American. Please stand with the millions of us who depend on, respect, and cherish these lands. I strongly urge you to negotiate for the removal of the public land sale provision from the bill. Sincerely,

steak and tri tip looks awesome. Sometimes I rather eat tri tip! That boston cream pie looks like it needs a few cold glasses of moo milk or coffee! I made peach cobbler, i didnt turn out like peach cobbler or anything, tasted like pumpkin bread, without the pumpkin. I cant bake.

Unbelievable. All of the Usery mountains. The entire lower salt recreation area. Huge portions of the rim above pine, strawberry and Christopher creek. Huge piece of the Tonto NF West of the 87. All so they can roll up a few bucks into the national budget and spend it in one year. Unbelievable. Now would be a great time to contact every legislator you know.

Boston cream pie for Father’s Day. It’s not very aesthetic, it’s gonna taste good though. I put double the cream filling in it. About to start a tri tip in the smoker, made salsa and pickled red onions to make tacos with

https://www.outdoorlife.com/conservation/public-land-sell-off-senate/ Look I hate discussing politics, but if you are a hunter in AZ you need to call your congressman NOW. The above article includes an interactive map that shows which BLM and Forest Service lands would be up for sale. Big impacts in many units, including Unit 5, 6, 21, 22, basically too many to list. Just look at the map. "Anybody who supports this in the Senate that has any inkling that this is a good idea, they need to get their butt kicked" - Land Tawney from American Hunters & Anglers I recommend calling your Senators if you hunt in Arizona, EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIVE IN ARIZONA. One more thing, please ask all your family and friends to write and have the sale of public lands removed from BBB. This needs to spread like wildfire because they want to try and get BBB passed by July 4th.

DO NOT let this Bill Pass!!! This Bill would destroy a lot of Arizona hunting units and lands out West…

That’s the spirit. The only way this gets taken out if they hear from a bunch of pissed off hunters.

With shifter in forward position, it took six 3/8" bolts to drop the gearcase and one 3/8" bolt to remove the shift linkage to get to the water pump today. The old water pump and driveshaft have some wear but the impeller was in good shape. Found the shaft key below the pump (likely culprit). Regardless, all cleaned and replaced. Runs excellent for no carb work or spark plugs. Those and gear oil change left. Stay tuned.. 20240424_190416.mp4
