The ramp is out of water. They are launching just east of the ramp on a dirt ramp. I fished from a 12 foot Colman Crawdad Boat. There was probably around 10 boats fishing. Ranging from pontoons, bass boats and a couple kayaks. . Crappie and Bass where being caught by everyone.

Called airlines and they only provide requirements for traveling with guns on their airlines/planes. They don’t check customs paperwork or what is needed and if you have it or not.

It’s not the Grundfos. Once the main is off, the pump isn’t creating pressure, it just moves water that’s already there. What you’re seeing is gravity. When you open that valve 3 to 4 inches off the floor, all the water sitting in the pipes above it drains down to that point. That’s why you’re getting a gallon or more. After shutting off the main, open the lowest faucet in the house like a basement sink or hose bib and a couple upstairs to help it drain there instead. If that fridge line is the lowest opening, it’s always going to dump some water. Totally normal, just messy.

They know it was shot down, just waiting on the FAA to say it. In the video shows the bullets sparking as they hit the chopper

Sad to say, a miserable bastardo , nicknamed “ Captain Anal” by one of my regulars and best friend….oh heck, that’s me. I have a place and boat in Cholla. Last year I worked way too much, I plan on making up for it this year. I’m not familiar with the charters, but be specific that you want to fish for grouper or White Sea bass this time of year….otherwise they’ll put you on bass and trigger which are great fun and eating, and non stop action, but big fish are there for the catching if they work for it. You latch into a gulf grouper, your life will be changed…..addictive! Whites are primo eating!

Hadn’t seen much rut activity this Jan until a week ago. After a few days of rain I found 14 bucks all w does. Too many deer on the Mnt to even get in there and hunt one of them. Came back a week later and saw a buck stand up at 8Am w 3 does. Range was 1500 yards. Got the spotter out to check the details. 3x3=go time. Made a plan to get half way and try to relocate. From that spot I couldn’t see into the cut he was working down. I glassed one of his does and decided to close the distance to see if I would be able to see into that cut and maybe make a play. Got to the skyline of that cut with perfect wind and some cover I was able to see the buck behind an ocotillo. Range was 82 yards. I knocked an arrow and dialed the slider to 82. If he steps out I will get a chance. 1 well placed arrow and he ran for 2 seconds. Made a trip to the truck to drop all my gear and hiked back to process him and pack out. I could not be happier. I’ve been trying to do a solo spot and stalk Coues for 10 years now.

I hate to burst your bubble, but if you’re in the 20+ point slot as a NR and still 3-4 years out you won’t live long enough to get what you want unless you’re 30 right now. I would burn on an early Kaibab hunt while you still can, as that will probably pass you up in the next couple years as the “strip tag or bust” crowd is gonna realize they’re never gonna catch it.

I have 12 or 13 points, I'm going to try to bang in 12aw October. Life is too short. Anyone know my odds?

You’re not in No Man’s land, you just don’t have the points for what you want. The kaibab is wildly unpredictable with tag numbers swinging with drought and winter conditions. You could end up chasing the late hunt for a LONG time as many dudes in the same boat as you figure out they don’t have enough for the strip and drop to the Kaibab. There are muzzleloader hunts that are just a week or so earlier than the late hunt. There is archery. December desert hunts. You could enjoy 10 days on the Bab in October. I’d say you have some great options.

Timney is an AZ company, so I try and support them the most. If you are around north phoenix you can walk into there headquarters and buy them if needed.
