I have never had Clay do a mount for me, but many of my buddies have. His work looks fantastic and he is at the top of my list.

in 2018 we caught so many perch in North Dakota it was crazy. I think we ate perch and walleye for 5 days straight. If you missed the hook set, 50% of the time you'd still snag a different perch in the belly. I wish we still had them here, when I was a kid, we caught some @ Stoneman, but it dried up probably 10-15 years ago and I haven't caught another in this state.

So what about all the first hand on the ground information from the hunters and ranchers that live the wolf nightmare every day. Because they are not scientists their information is not credible. There might have been some bad winters but traditionally there has always been winter kill and the herds recovered just fine. Now that wolve population is where it's at they are not recovering as in the past.

I’m a resident, have 21 points. I always said I would be happy if I drew an early rifle tag before 40, well that’s come and gone. If someone had told me I would have to wait this long to hunt elk, I would have never started putting in for the damned early rifle hunts! When I draw, it’s a once in a lifetime hunt for me, I will hire a guide. If I were in your shoes, it would all come down to my health. I know 70 year olds who can hike all day, and 70 year olds who can barely check the mail. If you feel good, and doc says you’re good, keep trying for early rifle, hire a guide or bring some boys along and make the best of it!

Trash should be packed out and disposed of properly. All dogs must be kept on leashes. Please pick up after your pet. Drive only on designated roads. OHVs must be licensed and street legal. Limit of two vehicles per site. Park fees are per vehicle, unless in-tow Leave something in your site to demonstrate occupancy at all times or site may be forfeited. No saving sites for people who are not in the park. First come, first served. Violators are subject to eviction. Vehicles arriving prior to 6 a.m. (Arizona Time) must pay for previous night. Fees subject to change. Campground and RV Sites Campground A has 21 sites available while Campground B has 42 sites with mixed amenities. Sites 1-27 (electric/water) are $22 per night. Sites 28-42 (dry camp) are available for $15 per night. Dry camping is located in Campgrounds D & E for $15 a night per vehicle. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There are vault and chemical toilets located throughout the campgrounds. There are 19 full hook-up sites with 50 amp electric, water and sewer located in the Main Campground. Good Lord. I guess Go Hunt and all of those analytics are no match for Del the yote buster. Here is what I can see for 19 points Non Resident. Early rifle looks bleak for any premier unit. Like in the 0.3% range for 3c and even less in the 23s, 27s etc. For archery non res with 19 points, you can easily draw 27 or 1 (100%) but 23N is back to O.4% and up to 83% for 3c and down to 0.7 for 9. Let me know if you want any other units. Happy to help. Late tags wouldn't be a problem anywhere. I'm sure Del's method works for him but I am a tool and rely on data when asked instead, or we can all just go yote busting! That is more `funner` anyway.

Fun hunts this year, we did about 10 days in the field. My arrow found it’s mark yesterday at sunset after spotting a herd 2.2 miles out earlier in the day. Pops was able to harvest his 18th consecutive archery pig this morning. 43rd and 44th pigs killed in this father/son duo team.

This was probably about my 10th consecutive late bull hunt that i had wolf problems. The last few years they have been in places where you wouldn’t expect to see them. There are SO many more than the “experts” will admit. Good thing ours are 70lb domestic dog hybrids and not 150lb canadian gray wolves.
