My son's first turkey hunt was amazing. We have both been counting down the days for opening day to come and finally it got here and had to get a late start due to work. We got up to our area by 3 p.m. and was tagged out by 3:45, this tom came in talking, but spotted us and my son had to make a quick shot at 67 yards and he dropped in him in his tracks. We couldn't believe it, we got to the tom with big smiles, laughs and even some tears, what more could I have asked for! Memories in the outdoors that will live with us forever. We can't wait for next year to come around.

We are selling my daughters goat due to there is no fair. She is a Nigerian pygmy dwarf goat. She is extremely friendly. $200 included everything needed for her care. Nothing else needed.

Hmmm.. I see the argument for renting over buying for sure if you buy one and finance it. But if you want to buy something functional you dont need to spend a ton of money. Sure a $5000 camper dont look as cool as the nice new ones at the campground but honestly who gives a chit. If you dont care about keepin up with the Jones's and it does everything the nice new shiny ones do who cares? Buy used, sell used. Think I paid $7500 for ours and could probably fetch $5k pretty easy, $4k if I'm desperate for a fast sale. Had it for sheesh like 6 years. So my cost per year at a $4k resale is something like $600 add tires, bearings, batteries and upgrades add another $500 average per year. So at $1100 I'm good with owning an average looking camper.

^^^^^ THIS I work with a guy who has money and that's all he talks about all day every day. Always tells me i'm doing it wrong and yaps about other guys doing it wrong then goes home to his couch and thinks about his money. Now 60 plus years old and hasn't done a dang thing but collect money. All his stories ended about 30 years ago, but at least he isn't paying interest on anything. HAHA

I did - they check your temp before you come inside- and all the communications prior say if you feel sick don't come...then if you feel sick up to 3 days after call with you donor number and you donation wont be used for a patient

I bought new in 2016. Between the monthly payments, storage fees, registration and insurance I could have taken a trip to the caribbean every year instead. We sold it when we became debt free a few years later and don’t regret it. $4,000 a year divided by 4 trips a year. Each trip cost me $1,000. Better to rent.

It has been 30 years since I did any carping! Picked up a setup similar to this, never used this style before! Any pointers on what to expect? My old setup was a large Zebco with a mini pole and the string attached to the tail end of the arrow! This newer model has a slide, looks impressive! Also, do people usually back the lbs off the draw pull? Seems like I remember shooting maybe 40#? Thanks for any pointers on this new to me setup!

2 years ago my neighbor had their air conditioner replaced because of hail damage to some fins. Not much damage at all. He knew I needed one soon so I took it and was going to place it on my house. He had bought this new years ago and it worked just fine when he removed it. Short story is I got a good buy on a new one. I was going to put this on my house and it is still sitting in my back yard out of the rain. If you have need of this it's yours for the taking. We bought our first TT new in 2006. Sold that one in 2015 and got a big 5th wheel within 4mo. We just sold the 5th wheel back in February. We loved every minute we used them. We certainly did not use them enough because as someone mentioned here already work, school and life in general got in the way. When we did use the trailer it often made for some of our very best memories as a family. When ever I asked my kids if they wanted to go to Disneyland or hunting in the trailer we always went hunting. Now my oldest will be going to college next year so I figured that I had to get my financial situation in order. When I proposed selling our trailer my family would not have it. It took a lot of convincing but they finally understood. Watching "our" trailer being towed away by it's new owner left each of us with watery eyes. We will get another one one day. Even though I know exactly what it costs and the work they take for us it is/was worth it.
