I bought this. I already have 22" sporter barrel versions in 6.5 grendel and 6 ARC. They don't shoot real well until you drop them in a Bell & Carlson stock. Night and day difference with groups around 3/4 with factory ammo and 1/2" with reloads or better. You can clip a coil off the trigger spring or replace with a Timney which also makes a big difference. Some folks say they shoot 1/2" as they come from factory but I haven't seen it yet.

With permission I am offering once again this year a deal on pecans for members. We have a lot of great members here who have helped me out over the years and I want to give back. I am offering 5 lbs of shelled pecans for $20 if picked up at my home or $27.00 shipped in AZ. Or $30 outside AZ. (Lower 48 ) If you wish to buy more just let me know. I will take orders until December 15 or until the pecans I have set aside are gone. Note I can also ship 8 lbs. in the same size box with no additional shipping cost. Just add $12.00 for the additional pecans. Please note I am shipping in bulk and using Pirate ship for UPS in order to keep the price as low as possible. If you are a member that has posted and has some history, I will ship out and let the checks catch up. I want to make sure you get them as soon as possible for Thanksgiving. Here is the simple process. PM me your name and address along with how many pounds you would like. My next shipment will be this Monday. Happy Holidays. Phil

Just like the title says. I am looking for a used Taurus Tracker 357mag 6 1/2 inch barrel. Would like to make Coyote hunting a little more interesting.

BIG thank you to all veterans (and their families in many cases) for your service and sacrifice! 🙏 Dad getting ready to crawl up into the belly of his B-17, circa summer of 44'. My hero.

I'll get a picture of the original wheel this afternoon as well as the door sticker. I'm not looking to really match the wheels that are on it now, mostly just wanting an extra spare for JIC. A plain steel wheel would be fine. Thanks for looking into it. Boarman, I hope that CZ is still treating you as well as it did me. Sometimes I really miss that 17 Remmy.

Happy Veterans Day. I found this picture a year or two ago on facespace. This was Operation Mountain Sweep in Afghanistan in 2002. I am the crew chief/door gunner in the picture. That was a long interesting day.

Dad was just a 17 year old kid when this picture was taken at the Brooklyn Naval Yard, March 1944. Time to ship out. He dropped out of school the year prior to help support the family and joined the navy at 17, rather than wait to be drafted.

I'm very grateful for all the veterans out there, past and present. I'm kinda partial to this one, my dad.

I picked up a used one at a garage sale on the cheap that needed a heating element and a fan. Parts are readily available and it is easy to work on these. So much YouTube help to lean on too. That smoker and I became pretty tight pals for the first few weeks until we went Vegan. Joke. My Son picked up a Pit Boss, same concept but seems better designed overall compared to my Traeger. I learned just this week that the neighborhood rats can easily access the grill through the stove pipe so we keep it covered now. Happy Grilling / Smoking!

One of the first places I went when I became serious about landscape photography back in 2009 was atop the Paria Plateau in northern Arizona. After not visiting this location for several years, I ventured back there earlier this month to find that it is still a visual treat. Once the summer rains come and fill the reflection pools, a return trip will be in the offing. My first trip was with a 12MP Nikon D90 and 18-105 kit lens. The recent trip was with a new Fuji GFX 100s 102MP medium format camera. Many of my favorite images were taken with that D90 in the earlier years, and hence I would like to return to some locations to reshoot with the GFX.
