My daughter turned 10 this year and was time to get her hunting big game. She got her first javelina in February. After that it was time for the fall draw. We were hopeful she would draw an early rifle tag. My Dad, wife, and myself all drew deer tags and she didn’t draw to our surprise. I was able to get her a leftover muzzleloader tag after the fact that we made the best of. She missed one buck the 2nd day we were out. The following day she passed on a couple 2x2 bucks. I found this buck shortly after bedded and the pursuit was on. Took us 2 hours to get up to the buck and get her in position for the shot. She killed this buck at 190 yards. Broke his G2 tumbling into the canyon below. She was a trooper and got herself a great first deer.

Decided to sell another one. The specs; Surgeon RLR action mated to a Krieger Barrel (light Palma I believe) 1 in 8 twist threaded 5/8x24 and finished at 28", threaded and put together by TCS in Weatherford,OK. The barreled action is paired with Badger M5 bottom metal for ACIS LA mags (comes with 1 Pmag) and dropped into a Manners Pro Hunter carbon stock that comes in at 26 ounces, atop the action is a Surgeon stamped 20 MOA rail and at the bottom a jewel trigger set quite light. LOP 13-5/8" Overall length 49-1/4" Weight as it sits in the pictures 9lbs 11oz 160 rounds down the tube. The group pictured is with 147gr eld bullets at 500 yards shot at 3600 ft in 62 degree weather. The barrel is very slick and cleans in 5 patches or less with bore tech carbon eliminator. The rifle will come with Redding dies lightly used, about 40 pieces of fired (in this gun only) lapua brass and 16 factory HSM 140gr Berger rounds that shoot very well. Will ship for free to your FFL in the lower 48 packaged in a hard case. Looking to get $2650.00 Shipped or $2550 FTF in Tucson.

I wasn’t shooting it to 1000 for hunting reasons. I did it because it shot so great out to 600 that I wanted to see how it shot out further.

IMG_2287.mov Tough finding bucks in all the usual places but we ended up finding one for my son yesterday, he shot at 300 yds.

Had a great hunt this year. On the drive down Thursday I was telling the wife how much I really wanted to kill a buck. The last several years I have been helping more than hunting. When I glassed up this buck she refused to shoot first. One shot and he was down. A few minutes later I got on the 15s to make sure he was still down and a bigger buck was standing 10ft away. She missed but it was still a great time with family and friends.

Two Igloo coolers and one Coleman. Great for elk meat hauling. Super deal - 100.00 total for all 3. Sorry, photos didn't load. Igloos are 41" long by 18" wide outside measurements. Pretty sure they are 150's. Coleman is smaller - 26" by 14" maybe a 25 - 30. I can text photos. John. text or call 602-820-6309

Thank you both and yeah I don’t get it. After you take the advertising off the tag they’re smaller than the old tags. And who forgets their tag jfc

For me it's not having to carry those larger tags in my bag. I usually have most of the otc tags which quickly adds up. Javelina, deer, Mt lion, turkey, bear. Plus I actually contribute and answer all the survey questions it prompts when I tag the animal.

With E tag you are way less likely to forget your tag somewhere.

Even with near max points, if you put in for the more popular units, you risk not drawing as those tags go to the 20% pass with more points. After all 80% of the permits go to just those that are lucky.
