33 minutes ago from Alpine Fire Department: Forward progress has been stopped on the Village East Fire. Crews stopped the fire at 26.4 acres and will remain on scene for mop up. At the same time another fire started by Luna Lake Campground. Crews are holding that fire at this time!

Not really. As windy as it is up there and the piss poor job of the Wallow fire cleanup, its ripe to burn. Well, I guess this started closer to town, so who knows. I'll ask my in laws when phone service is restored. My MIL has her nose in everything there.

We were there on 3/30 crappie fishing. we caught a few in 12-15 ft of water just in front of sticks on slip bobbers and minnows around 8 ft thr bass guys we saw were doing well on cranks and swim baits

I have a 2005 Tacker Super Guide V14. It is a 14 foot Deep V. It is set up just like the one in the picture but has 45-55 Minn Kota Trolling Motor, will have to check if it 45 or 55. Has a 40 HP tacker outboard. Starts right up everytime. Really nice boat. The first owner kept it stored in his garage up north for the nothern lakes. Boat is rated at 4 persons 600 lbs. Has simple fish finder at the console. Newer trailer tires. This package is ready to go to the lake. My dad and I purchased this about 4 years ago. It has been covered the whole time. We have used it about once a year. My parents sold their house where the boat is kept. I dont have any room at my house to store this. I would totally keep this but I have my third kid on the way. My family is going to need a bigger boat. This boat is awesome for the desert lakes. With the 40 HP is goes about 28 MPH. The deep V hull is amazing when dealing with the huge wake surf boats. This boat with the deep V cuts right through all the giant wakes. I was looking to get $6,250. Willing to negotiate.

We fished the DPS tournament and slammed the bass. Most were small but we did get 24# in two dats for 12th place. Most came on plastics from 5-20’. Jigs caught bigger fish than drop shot. IMG_0145.webp

August otc is my version of Christmas. I have spent more time hunting unit 1 than most. I don't think harvest is the only factor g&f is considering. The amount of hunters over the last few years since they instituted harvest objectives is absolutely insane and I am sure only increase. Secondly, g&f needs to institute mandatory reporting for draw tags as well to get a more accurate version of harvest. It is with mixed emotions and some sadness that I support the draw for these units.
