Outdoorsmans SAR chassis for sale. It's in great shape with some wear and tear on the paint from use. 2lbs 12oz as it sits now. Any AR15 style buttstock can be added if you want something different. Includes Royal Arms adjustable buttstock shown. Im not far from Scheels if anyone wants to take a look. Overall all it's a great chassis and I'd probably keep it if I was doing anymore 700 based builds. Painted in Tungsten cerakote. https://outdoorsmans.com/products/sar700-a1-chassis-only https://royalarms.com/shop/tacar-mkii-adjustable-ar15-stock-copy/ Tom 480-868-9664

On vacation in Yellowstone but we got to sneak away for a morning fishing trip. We let my son and nephew do most of the catching but we all caught some. Biggest was 27in and the smallest was probably 18in. We kept 10 "good eating " size fish according to our guide. The scenery makes it worth the trip! Fishing posts are worthless without pics so here are a few.

My son’s girlfriend asked if I’d help her sell this . I’ve had it in my garage for a couple weeks and don’t know much about it. She’s going to ASU and needs something more reliable and with better gas mileage. I’ve driven it around the neighborhood. She put about $2500 into it. Has new tires and seats . I believe its had an engine swap from a Mustang. Honestly have no clue what it’s worth but she’s asking $6000. Key chain alone has to be worth that

Last night's dinner. Elk stew meat ground into burgers (mixed in about 25% beef fat trimmed from a brisket I smoke a couple of weeks ago), plus grilled sweet potatoes. Went with lettuce wrap style because I'm trying to keep my carbs low. Was VERY good but concluded that burgers are WAY better with a toasted buttery bun!

I was recently able to scratch the Grand Canyon River Trip off my bucket list. I went with a photo tour rather than a regular commercial trip as the photo tour would have us in the right locations at the best time with best light for photography. We had clouds, sun, rain, blue waters, colorful sunsets, canyon glow, dappled light, reflections, waterfalls, and good food. Here is a selection of favorite images, but there is a plethora more on the website. https://www.plateaulightphotography.com/New-Work/Grand-Canyon-River-Trip

U10 deer for me (Res, 3 bp's). U22 Dec. Coues for my son (NR, 15 bp's). Hopefully 15 gets it done. Last year he'd of been in the 100% pool. I should have put 1st choice same as the kid, and 2nd choice U10. Wasn't thinking.

I thought the pic I had from helping with a research project in Chiricahua NM was me holding the blactail by its tail, but its me with it in my hook. I had it by its tail, but others were freaking out, so I played nice. Other blacktail pics are from the Santa Ritas and Huachucas. Chiricahua NM Scheelite Canyon, Ft Huachuca Madera Canyon, right off a popular trail Scotia Canyon, Huachuca Mts Right outside Ft Huachuca West Gate They all got defensive and rattled like crazy once I started messing with them, but they were never aggressive or eager to strike. In fact, all of these barely rattled at all when we walked past them. Like barely two tail twitches.

My experience is that Az black rattlesnakes are least likely to bite off all the ones discussed here. They're typically at the elevations we hunt coues. Black tailed on the other hand have always been very aggressive in my encounters with them. There's a spot on n the Salt that we home into for catfish and we call it our rattlesnake spot. Always see 3 or 4 blacktails on the way in. I was hunting near one year in 24A glassing a big canyon that runs into Salt River canyon. Sat down in the dark. About 830 we got up to move and my buddy put his hand down to stand up. Put it right on top of a black coiled up. He jumped up and pulled his pistol. I told him not to shoot it as it was not aggressive to us and an god trait to pass on!

I’ll stay on the rock and glass. (Currently watching a few prospect rams) I Would like to see pioneer license holders get the opportunity to knock some sheep in the dirt. (Heck I wish they could do it as a population management hunt) It’s a golden opportunity for some deserving folks. Wish they had more tags for the older generations to live out there dreams.

Little too optimistic I'd say. Results are never that quick after the charges. If things follow last year which was a week later than this year update deadline will be Tuesday June 20th, charges the 21st with results either end of that week or early the following week.
