Wearing earplugs is great. Everyone should wear them every time they shoot. Especially when using a brake. Everyone I talk to about ear plugs has a plan. Unfortunately putting them in is most often the part of the plan that is skipped when a quick shot or buck fever kicks in.

Why not both? Buildings are replaceable. Maybe not to what they used to be but being concerned for a feral animal to spread across the kaibab is a legitimate concern that would have long lasting effects. (Even if he was mistaken as to mules not being able to breed).

I’m gonna give a free bump cuz that looks like a fun rig! I’m actually looking for a manual vehicle to teach my kids to drive and possibly use as a daily…. What kind of mpg, and will it pass the communistic Maricopa county emissions?

re the mules: "news about the mules came in this morning from GRCA Superintendent Ed Keeble: All of the mules, every single one, were corralled and taken safely, and alive, to their main ranch in southern Utah! "

I’m kinda undecided on the primary rifle but will be between a ruger 300wm, rem 700 300 wtby mag or a kimber 308 all topped with Leupolds. The ruger has been on the last couple hunts so will probably get the nod.

Dm me here please. 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 – 5-Speed Manual – 2.4L 4-Cylinder 184k miles $5000 Runs and drives great. Very reliable with no major mechanical issues. Well maintained with quality upgrades done right. This one has the rare combo of a 5-speed manual, 2.4L 4-cylinder engine, and factory 4.10 gear ratio — a setup that’s hard to find and preferred by enthusiasts. Upgrades and features: • New wheels with BFG KO2 all-terrain tires • Suspension lift with upgraded control arms • Aftermarket lighting upgrades • Cold A/C and strong heat • Roof rack • Upgraded stereo with CD, Bluetooth, and AUX Interior and exterior are in good shape for its age, with normal wear. I like suppressors for not only the noise suppression, but also the recoil suppression. OTB cans are going to become more and more popular with hunting rifles IMO. I still wear ear plugs when I shoot suppressed, unless its a sub sonic round.

I agree with everything you wrote but his only concern looks like was the mules.

Looking back at the 2002 Rodeo Chedeski fire I bet they wish they got those reservation fences fixed pronto like. All those Indian horses crossed over onto NF & public land and the rest is history of nightmarish proportions.

When the war in Ukraine started, Apple took Strelok off of the app store due to the dev being Russian. They claimed that Strelok was helping the Russians in the war lol. I know this because I emailed Ivan when I was having trouble updating the app and saw it was gone from the app store. There is a Strelok clone app called Chairgun Elite + I have been using ever since. Pretty much same exact app

Very cool! I’ll be in B for rifle. Do you have a rifle or bow tag in 13a?
  19. 1 point
Exciting for sure. Sounds like you have a good handle on it. What rifle/scope will you be using as your primary rig?

Good luck, and congrats on the tag. I like the plan and enjoy the whole adventure!

Bayou Po Boys, Andouille sausage and shrimp. Either the sausage or my Remulaude sauce was spicy, the wife tapped out after a half, my scalp was sweating after two. I’ll consider it a win

😳😳😳 First Family Of Wild Hogs Released In WyomingTo Combat Invasive Species CASPER, WY - A controversial new approach to prairie land management, Wyoming Game and Fish has announced the successful release of the state’s first family of wild hogs into the open plains just west of Douglas. The move, according to officials, is intended to “naturally root out invasive weeds” using the pigs’ notorious foraging behavior. “We’ve tried chemicals, goats, interns, and even a flamethrower once,” said Game and Fish spokesperson Tammy Ledbetter. “But nothing seems to work quite like a 400-pound feral hog with a bad attitude and an iron stomach.” The family, consisting of a boar named “Rutabaga,” a sow named “Mildred,” and their seven nearly-identical piglets, was imported from a private ranch in Arkansas after undergoing a brief orientation at the Cheyenne Welcome Center. “This is about restoring balance,” said Dr. Carl Tibbins, a wildlife ecologist who allegedly signed off on the plan during what he admits was “a really weird staff meeting.” According to Game and Fish, the hogs are expected to dig up the root systems of noxious weeds like cheatgrass, Canada thistle, and “whatever that scratchy green stuff is that makes your dog itchy.” However, not everyone is thrilled. “They’re wild hogs, not botanists,” said rancher Travis Dooling, whose fence was allegedly uprooted within 14 minutes of the release. “One of them tried to mate with my ATV.” Local environmental groups have raised concerns over the long-term impact of releasing feral swine into an ecosystem famous for its delicate balance of wildlife, livestock, and quietude. Game and Fish insists they’ve put safeguards in place. Each hog has been tagged with a GPS collar and fitted with a tiny, state-issued cowboy hat so officials can more easily identify them from helicopters. “The hats are purely for morale,” added Ledbetter. “Ours, not the pigs’.” Meanwhile, the pig family appears to be thriving. They’ve already cleared a 2-acre patch of cheatgrass, eaten the wiring out of a weather station, and become minor celebrities in Glenrock. Wyoming Game and Fish has tentatively scheduled a second release later this fall if what’s left of the prairies still allows for it.
