Short, but don't want to give away too many secrets on the interweb.... Cow call.mp4 For those of you who want to learn she charges 1 cookie per 2 minutes.

I have had this buck on camera for the last 3 or 4 seasons. Each year he gets a little taller and a little wider. I keep going back and forth, if I had the chance to shoot him, would I do it? I think this year, that will be a yes. Something about a big forkie just intrigues me. Would you guys shoot him?

My first buck will be tough to top. My dad and I cut his track one morning and I tracked him right to his bed. Made a 50 yard shot with my .243 and he never got up. It was November 2001 and I was only days away from turning 16.

Brand New, never been shot Weatherby Vanguard Camilla in 7mm-08. Asking $700. I don't have the box anymore but I do have the paperwork. Specifically manufactured for women. Check out the Weatherby website for more details. I won it at a banquet and it's branded "Women of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation". You can text me direct a (208)-921-1319.

My buddy has one that he put Bushnells A17 specific scope on. It does pretty well for a small round.

Thanks, I tried to price them fairly. The 15x are getting hard to find and I actually prefer them to the 18s. The FOV starts to get too narrow for my liking above 15 power.

Went to cabelas a few days ago to pick up a bear tag . Lady struggles to fill it out. She ended up getting help from another employee. I pay for it and when she hands it to me she says “poor bear”. I told her trust me the bear won’t feel it when I put it on him!

Remember when you could go to the fair and pay to see a fat lady covered in tattoos? Now you can see it everyday at Wal-mart!

I prefer the solitude of a lonely desert tank. No one else but me. Not as much action or fast paced, but the quiet nature of the desert is peaceful to me. Good luck to everyone on Sunday!

The guy with the Cousin Eddie shoes in the background, though! In all seriousness, I'd have had a talk with her supervisor. Someone working in a hunting/fishing store should 1) keep their opinions like that to themselves; or 2) should not be working there.

I have had the same hunt the last two years and drew it again this year. Lots of elk to be seen and pretty much all over the unit is elk country, from the pines in the Williams corner to the rolling juniper hills to the flat plains. The closer you are to Williams the more crowded it will be with other hunters so the further you are from town the better. Since most of the unit is elk country just pick a spot you like start glassing with a decent pair of Binos, ideally on a tripod. That’s what I did 2 years ago and have found a herd that I (think I) can regularly count on. It’s a very enjoyable hunt, especially if the weather is nice and as long as you get out of the truck and do some hiking/glassing you will probably see elk. I’ll be up there in a golden/beige F-150 and glad to give any tips or help if you’re struggling during the hunt. If you have time to scout before the hunt I highly recommend you do that, especially if you will only be hunting opening weekend. It will help you get the lay of the land and find a good spot to camp and hopefully find some elk before the hunt so that you know where to go come opening day. Good luck!

Be decisive. Right or wrong make a decision. The road of life is paved with flat squirrels who couldn’t make a decision.

It’s going to be cold. It’s cold by mid September, but will ultimately depend on the terrain and elevation. Hopefully it doesn’t rain. How long are you guys in Anchorage? Or just passing through? Thought this might get you pumped up for your trip- saw him on the back side of the airport near Earthquake Park.

This proves what I keep saying. Everyone complains, but has no real solutions. If you are going to be completely against something that is a real problem, have a solution of your own. I think Azkiller is spot on with the drugs comment. I tend not to conform with the republican or the democrat views. I make an opinion of my own, right or wrong, it is mine. I am not easily influenced by fear or party lines. Doing away with parties would be my first solution to most of our problems. When we get senate votes of 100% republican opposition or 100% democrat opposition, it shows that we are sheeple. Conforming to what others have told you to conform to. If that makes us doomed from within, I will let you have that. Open dialogue is needed.

What are these glassing pads stuffed with and how well do the hold up? A couple of my glassing knobs are on some rough jagged rocky stuff that have torn up a couple of other pads. But better pads than my camo and backside. Thanks

It's still harrassment of wildlife if they ran from the plane being so close..........I would have called it in right then, but it's never too late. Probably a big guiding group............can you say USO??
