Awesome little ghost on the head of this Rhino viper.. Good warning too because if he hits you, you're pretty much dead.

I have a couple single-6’s, a couple winchester lever 22mags and a PMR-30. The levers and revolvers have not left the safe since i got the Keltec. They aren’t as “sexy” as the others mentioned but they are bad@ss.

I owned one like below for many years. It was a good shooter, even with the cheapie Weaver scope I had on it. Sold it and several other firearms to finance my trip to Africa. I also had the Single-Six combo, which killed my first bobcat at the now-gone Big Saddle Camp on the N. Kaibab in the '60s.. http://www.millerrodandgun.com/DetailPages/Winchester-255-22mag_133772.htm Other options: https://www.henryusa.com/henry-rifles-and-shotguns/ https://ctfirearmsauction.com/auction_item/winchester-9422m-22-magnum-lever/

A couple on my list...Ruger Single Six 22lr/22mag revolver and a 22mag lever action...Not even sure make/model on that one. I also like the Keltec PMR30 semi auto with the 30-Rd mag.

Only way to tell a snakes age is kill it and cut it in half and count the rings.. Or just kill it and walk away. Sorry snake lovers!

Agreed that if there wasn't a dead animal at the end of the hunt it would still be a success. Sharing the experiences in the woods with my son is the true "trophy". Also agreed that things not working the way we want teaches great lessons. I'll add something that I did not share earlier. The day before the hunt started my son found out that he was did not make the final cut for the soccer team at his school. Did he wine or moan about it. Nope!!! He just stayed positive and wanted to go hunting to forget about the outside world for awhile. He was way more positive then I could have even imagined. Very proud of him for that!!! He went into this hunt with a great attitude and ended it with one even before he got the buck!!! What I can't agree with you on is the fact that you feel the need to throw in your "$.02" in such a negative and devisive way. Acting like our success shouldn't be accepted because of the "style" of hunting we did to be successful. Just because you don't hunt that way doesn't mean others shouldn't or can't. Do your thing I support you, but stop trying to look down on other hunters when they are successful if they are doing it legally.
