Hey everyone, Thought I'd share a recent video that we just finished up to help us get through the rest of July and first part of August until the archery hunt. I hope you enjoy!

Fourm needs some hunting content so I thought I'd post my January archery buck. Opener I missed him in his bed at 58 after a crawl. Arrow deflected on a piece of grass in front of him that I didn't see. Clean miss. Next AM before light an epic battle occurred below me. Couldn't wait to see what they were. The guy I missed the previous day got whooped and was being escorted out of the area. He bedded on the top of small ridge. Guy who kicked his butt was a big old guy with crabs all around. He got a pass. Solo stalks are fun with no spotter but I had a hunch he'd stay for a bit after his whooping. I started crawling up the slope stalking the bush he laid under. Stalk took 2 hours to get to 30. I got to 30 from the bush and no deer or sight of him. Figured he'd left but I've been burned before thinking I was done. So I stood up slowly and still nothing visible. Crept up standing. At 22 yards a big rack was now visible from a bedded deer. I couldn't see him as his face was in the dirt. I only saw him after he woke. So he's at 22 yards bedded, doesn't know I'm there. No play. He's gonna have to stand and walk left or right three yards for a window. 4 hours later after I watched nothing but his rack move, and listening to him groom himself, he stood, stretched, and started feeding. Shot was 28 yards. He went about 150 and bedded. Found him dead in his bed an hour later. Sorry for crappy photos. He's only 17+" inside but he's tall and forky and heavy and scores well.

Posting this for my cousin in New Mexico The sire got a NA prize One in the April Zia chapter of NAVHDA test 2022. The dam hasn't been in a test, but she is out of dogs that have a NAVHDA background. They both have good drive, a good nose, and a good disposition and hunt good upland or water. Please pass the word along to anyone who is interested in some nice GWP's. Both pups avail are male PM me for more info. I have pedigrees and pics of sire and dam

Spf I have 500 rounds of Federal .45 auto Gold Medal Match 185gr FMJ-SWC. 150 rounds are in plastic MTM 50 round cases. Two pigs shot with this round had exit wounds that looked like 1.5” broadhead…it just doesn’t cycle well in my Glock 21. Was lights out in a 1911 I used to own. $SPF. Would trade for 1k rounds of 12 or 20 gauge 7.5 or 8 shot. Located in midtown Tucson but will be in downtown PHX briefly midday 7.21. Thanks for looking.

We booked with Island view charters. It was a group booking. I did not hear of one complaint.

I highly recommend trying to sell these on Facebook. Facebook has several taxidermy for sale groups. Items like these seem to sell guick. Another suggestion would be selling them to local antique shops. Again, these items seem to sell quickly.

I usually use a gammo pellet gun . The birds don't move much when I'm done. Some jack wagon keeps feeding them and the Damm things crap everywhere 🙄.

Thanks everyone, we got back late last night. The weather was pretty amazing, sunny/cloudy with hardly no rain. It was alot of fun especially with my boy. We caught our limit on Halibut, Sockeye and Lingcod. Also caught lots of Silver Salmon, Pink Salmon, Dolly Varden Char and Pacific Cod. No King Salmon were caught. Saw one really big Salmon Shark about 7ft. I don't know if I'll ever go back to fish though, it was a fun trip just not my type of fishing.

Be happy for these times of high temps. It's the only thing keeping millions more people from moving to our once great state. As a native, I will take extreme heat any day over the extreme cold.

Video games are the death in this next generation. They would rather spend all night playing their games these days then have a sleep over and actually play something really, experience life with friends. As a dad it’s tough and figuring it out is a challenge but they come around trust me. Wish I could help but know nothing about the unit. Good luck and keep after them kids, It will pay off!

He didn't say his son doesn't wanna go. And I personally think kids should go and try it even if they aren't crazy about it. Who knows, after he pulls the trigger on one the first time he might like it. And if he still doesn't then maybe next time around give him a pass. Kids need more outdoors and less time gaming IMHO.

I have never tried one but they do look interesting. I like the idea of loading to a speed, SD, ES you’re looking for then dialing in at the range. I don’t know if they would save any ammo during load development. I think it would save some time with less time back and forth to the range. But I could be wrong. Also a good idea for commercial ammo. You could just buy what you want and get it as accurate as possible. Then possibly move the brake back and forth between guns like a suppressor.

I do not know how often you practice and your limits to shots you are comfortable taking. That said, I personally would not take that shot based on my skill level and what I feel comfortable doing. Everyone has a different comfort level and willingness to take a shot like that.
