If I remember correctly he was given a really good deal on this gun from another member, now he’s trying to flip the rifle asking way more for it than what he paid for it 🤷🏻‍♂️.

It's a midcentury Old Hickory skinning knife, ordered by Shapleigh to be stamped with their name. Lots of knife makers sold generic knives to butcher suppliers, grinding companies, hardware stores. Dexters, Russells ect... cast iron cookware companies like Wagner/Griswold did the same, to be sold for less. It's not worth a lot of money, might get 20 to 30 bucks. I've sold the couple of Shapleigh knives I've owned with any old hickory or forgecraft. It's worth much more to you as a cool knife to use, easily gets razor sharp. I recently sold about 50 carbon steel knives, extras from my butcher boxes, still the box is full of my more favorite ones. Kent

Would you consider $500 for it?

My wife just had the same surgery done this last Tuesday. They relocated the bicep at the same time. She is in a sling until she goes back in to the see the Dr on the 24th. But he said that after the first few days once the original bandages come off and she can shower she could exercise the elbow a little so that it doesn't freeze up. And little circular motions with her arm hanging straight down. So far, so good. It is important to stay on top of the pain. Don't try to be the guy that just deals with the pain. It will make it way worse.

To see this moisture already and have a lot of points for 2026. 2025 rut hunters are in shambles

Roosevelt really produced this year. Had some 30+ fish days and some big fish days. Sorry about the sideways pics! All fish released. Big largemouth 8.25# and big smallmouth 4.3#. I’m watching the rain in Tonto Basin now and hoping for a lot of runoff in the spring. Water temperature Monday was 70 degrees. I suspect it will be low 60’s when this storm passes.

Joel Etchen Signature special. 12 gauge 32" barrels. Negrini case with all accessories that came with it. Perfect condition, not a mark on it. About 250 rounds through it. $3400. Located in Globe but I go to the valley often. May trade for quality binos or spotter.

My dad was down for a year. He is a truck driver and it was his right arm. Couldn't shift. He was in his 60's when he had it done so that might have contributed to his recovery time.

I tore my labrum in a mule wreck. Surgeon said he wouldn't do surgery on it. I live with it. Hard to shoot my bow and he signed my crossbow permit. Glad it's on my left side

Years ago my son bought me a Diamondbacks hat and him and his mom had number one dad embroidered in it. It's basically the only hat I wear hunting or not. Funny story is my dad also bought me the same exact hat for my birthday that year and I've never worn it. I only wear this hat my son got me that says number one dad.

The boy and I got out in the woods over Christmas break chasing ducks and geese. As usual I didn't take enough pictures but I did snap a few. Anyone have suggestions for 20ga duck loads? Right now he is shooting 3in #4 Faststeel loads and they aren't working as well as I would like. My son is a pretty good shot and doesn't burn through ammo on sketchy shots so I don't mind spending a little extra on some better ammo. Last weekend he knocked the same duck down 2 times and he still got up and flew off. We watched him go down about 150yds into the trees but never found him.

One of my pest control customers had a remodel going on and this mount fell off the wall and jacked its ears up, and a gash on the backside that can be seen. I saw it in his garage and didn't see it there before and asked what was up. He was gonna take it to the dump. I said heck no I'll take it! Dude killed it in Nevada 40 years ago, treed with dogs and got it with a bow. Dude has probably 100k worth of mounts already and apparently felt it was worth letting go. After some super glue and stain pens this dude is gonna go above the TV in the living room! Gotta repair some of the habitat too. It was a 130 lb Tom. Hopefully when I actually finally kill a lion I can reuse the form and base... Hopefully.

Numbers are at record lows. The drought along with the amount of hunt pressure the last 10 years has decimated there numbers

The alarm went off extremely early (0230) and we were off to Wilcox..... Hes the best co-pilot. Met with everyone and headed out. Blind was set, as were the decoys. Birds were working really well. Levi stayed in the blind, I was in a layout in front of the blind and it AWESOME! Levi was shooting my buddy Steve's shotgun.... and shot it extremely well, likely resulting in me buying it from Steve. He tagged his limit and had a blast!
