I’m sure that $3k crossbow will still function just as well going forward in the general season going as it did previously in the archery season…. Don’t even need to see an MD any more for a Dr note to use the crossbow during the general season. Seems like they did all crossbow hunters a favor and finally placed them in their correct season.

Anyone going to be there tomorrow morning and afternoon? I'm going up? Should be on the water around 5:30 AM. If You're going to be there . Say Hi if You see Me. I will be alone. And in a 12' Lowe's flat bottom boat. Painted Camo. Look for a old ugly Redneck in a camouflage boat. And You found Me. Good luck to everyone fishing.

Sounds like you didn’t really need it if you can’t get recertified. But you conveniently left that part out of your rant….

I talked to him today. He is still taking in turkeys, geese, ducks and cranes on a limited basis. No texts and no website (son has moved away). CALL him and leave a message and be patient.

When I bird hunted I was famous for my 35 dove stew at deer camp every year. Crock-Pot, bone and shred the meat up ahead of time, make a big pot of it with all the stuff. Excellent. Rip some bread....oh ya. I had bird dogs pretty much my entire life and my buddies. I'm done with that and quit hurting dove, quail and pheasants. It's not the same with out dogs, that's the best part of it.

😁😁😁 Found the problem. The wiring from the pump . Runs along the frame on the driver's side. Just below the fuel fill tube. On the frame is a fuel filter mounted on the frame. Who ever had it before me installed it. When they did they pinned the fuel pump wiring behind the filter. Over time the filter rubbed against it and two wires were smashed and shorted out . Everything is fixed. Truck is running really good now. I almost forgot what 450 horsepower feels like. O yea 👍😁

That lake would have been filled with 2.5lb crappie and 8lb bass next year. Such a shame. Maybe in another 8 years it will be back

Wow, no bag limits. Dan, any truthful info about saving the lake and water rights?

Agreed, on all three. Did you darken the horns or where they that dark? Always wanted a chocolate horn.

Just get a cloth measuring tape and go to the boone and crockett website and look up where the measurements are. If you’re not looking for anything official, it’s pretty easy to get within several inches. I’m guessing 180ish frame with 20-25” of nontypical? 200" +- 5" is where i’m at. Great buck
