Ended up going with the Line-X. I thought it would seal the gaps better, but had a couple leaks. Added some weatherproofing around the windows and a couple spots on the roof, now weatherproof. I will take it back in to LineX to spray over these areas for added protection and aesthetics. Can still carry a Polaris sportsman size quad inside. Still going to ad roof rack for the kayaks, awning, receiver for bike rack and gambrel hoist and insulate and finish the interior.

-not trying to detail thread either. Quick bit of research I did only shows they do surrender and kill pen rescues, nothing about them being active in, getting their horses from, or financially supporting feral/wild horse programs…. I guess you won’t hunt BLM land here in Arizona since you are so principled, since so much money of our money is being spent with the TIP program, etc. I get your sentiment, but CVHR does surrenders, community, and veterans programs. I’m involved in the equine community via a ranch we board at, that does hippotherapy etc and I can guarantee that no organization that relies on donations from the horse community is going to be openly “anti wild (feral) horse”, regardless of their personal stance on the management of feral populations. If CVH were remotely “pro feral”, tell my why none of their stock are TIP mustangs? just playing devil’s advocate-personally if I were parking up there I’d support them, because I see daily what good horse therapy does in the lives of many. I can personally balance how much I disdain how the current “management” of wild/feral populations is doing to the habitat of the real wild population and still support a lot of the great things being done in the lives of folks with disabilities via horses. id support them over a shithole redneck off res RV park and wish them well.

What do you all think of a thread where we can post up our ammo needs, and people can post up what they can access locally. We could also do a Coueswhitetail Express (CWE) deal if people are that trusting of each other (TBD by the guys/gals doing the deal). I'll start. The Cal Ranch in Sierra Vista has a ton of the 300 PRC 212gr ELD-X ammo in stock. $54.99 a box. I know it has been difficult for me to find for under $79.99 a box (although MidwayUSA had it recently for $64.99). They also have quite a few boxes of the 6.5 PRC ELD-M in stock. I don't recall the price, but maybe $64.99 (?). I travel to Tucson a couple of times a month if you can be flexible on delivery. I am also headed for Safford next Thursday, if someone over that way is in need.

Yep, her name was Betty Rennick. My dad was on that hunt with Tom Saad in 1974. I still have a brochure from Arizona Outfitters with a pic of the ram. Also has a pic of Fred Jerome's ram from 1979. Both were Kofa rams.

Go for it or just make a post like others do when they come across what they think is a worthwhile deal or have something to sell. In this age of scalpers I don't see the need to blaab about ammo for sale. People who need stuff are always on the lookout for it at the usual places.

Well this didn't take long! Wife and I took a trip to Artichoke Basille's in Tempe. Upon walking in, we had a nice view of the slice pie glass display. I saw that they had sets of Bakers Pride pizza ovens with cordierite decks so I was pumped. Tried the Margherita and the Staten Island slices. Slices came out piping hot with crispy crust bottoms, just the way I like em. They use Polly-O mozzarella and add Grana Padano cheese. Not sure if this contributed to an oilier finish than I prefer. (as you've noticed, I love Grande Mozzarella) Flavor profiles on both pizza's was good. The sauce was flavorful/savory and a welcomed surprise as I've been tired of the bland tomato sauces at other pizza joints. The crust absolutely slapped. It has great texture and a perfect chew. Not only would I hit this place up again, it's my new go-to for NY style pizza. Thanks again amack26 for the recommendation!

I could be wrong but I thought there was a thread here a long while back that they had confirmed he was killed in Mexico based on pics of a dead leopard shot on a ranch? Was that a different leapord or what? Here's the news link... The Arizona Republic: Return of 'the boss': El Jefe, a jaguar that roamed Arizona, has turned up alive in Mexico. https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/arizona-environment/2022/08/05/rare-jaguar-el-jefe-roamed-arizona-spotted-across-border/10251057002/

You sure you didnt send it back for grill marks in the wrong direction? That would explain the extra sodium.

I use a pair of carpet shoes the illegals leave in the desert. Not so much for being quiet but not leaving tracks of where I have been.

Consider that a mature jaguar could dominate a territory that would hold say three lions. If the Jaguar were to kill or run off 3 lions from it's territory but only kill and eat 1.4 times as many deer than just one MT lion then that to me is a plus. I do not claim to know exactly how the numbers would work, but the dominant predator will not abide a lesser predator on its hunting grounds. It is much like how we hunters feel about lions and coyotes.

Good, it’s either dead or in Mexico. Either one I’m fine with.

They’re one of the few animals I don’t shoot. I don’t have a problem with those that do, it’s just not for me for some reason.

I passed on the pricing issue. So I posted New prices. And same as Sobrbiker, I also didn’t read anything about them being “pro feral horses”. So not sure where that accusation came from. Anyways, prices are updated. Do as you wish!

I’ve seen that one trailer park in RV and I’d pay 5x the price not to stay there if I was a RV’er.

AZ G&F needs to increase the NR fees. Other states are cutting NR tags and increasing the NR fees. Even requiring NR to buy points after the draw for more revenue in some states. NR have it pretty good in AZ compared to most other states.
