If that’s CA, I’ll take a screwing in the draw every year before I cross the Colorado. I’ll cross it into NV, or UT, but fug CA.

Sportsmans has had some primers not long ago for that price, they go fast. I've never been able to get any. Online sportsman's primer pricing is less than 1lb of H1000 pricing. They may jack the primer price up when they get more inventory, everyone else has. But a few months ago midway/PV were about 45 bucks for primers and 40 for powder. On one hand you say guys are buying H1000 for 35 bucks and on another primers are 4 times that... both not true and gross exaggeration. In the last couple weeks I bought H1000, H4350 and primers from Midway/PV/hodgdon. Apples to apples if you order 1lb of H1000 it's 68.50 with all fees, 1 brick of primers would be 101ish. Last week Midway and PV had primers on multiple days, so they are more available than the last couple months. There are plenty of primers out there that were bought at 30 to 50 bucks and a trade for a powder they can't get would be a fair deal. Last month I sold 2 bricks of 209 primers for 50 bucks each here, and a couple days ago when the powder and primers showed up I sold them in a few hours except 1 brick of large pistol. I had zero need for any of it, only buy it to pass on to those that weren't able to get in on it before it was gone. I've done a lot of trading of bullets, brass, powder and primers lately, organizing my components to better suit the guns and shooting I do now. If both parties feel the trade is fair then it is. The disrespect of another member's classified ad with gross exaggeration and then someone else undercuts the OP in his own thread for the same trade... come on. Kent

Great article. Nice to see a write-up that shines light on this ban for what is vs what the commission wants you to believe or what you see/hear from people uninformed on the situation. Was clearly from the start a personal agenda of Kurt and Todd's and the stunts pulled to make it happen are frankly laughable. I was curious what the final tally was regarding the last public comment period. Surprised to see it was 1,019 opposed to a mere 71 in support!

Been in Chandler since late 70's. This weekend was old school and loved it. Back then there was much more rain following the initial rage. More cloud to ground lightening then too. Learned years ago paloverde was bad choices near your house and fences.

My Radar. This coming week's storms will be much slower moving. Rainfall totals should be way up.

Drew my second choice 37A! I had the 2100 taken out but I still wasn’t sure how game and fish was gonna play it out if they had screw up and we’re gonna give tags back to maybe people who had the incorrect balance. Finally got to be 100% when I seen it this morning. I wasn’t expecting this tag for another 20/30 years. Ready to get behind some glass

It falls below 1000 ft lbs if energy at 50 yards and has about 800 at 100 yards. I guess if you’d be comfortable shooting an elk at 1300 yards with your 300 mag it’s about the same energy. I used to take smaller calibers and old rifles etc for doe/cow hunts and then one day I thought about how that critter would feel suffering because I didn’t use everything in my power to kill it as fast and humanely as possible and decided that wasn’t for me. But that’s everyone’s own decision to make. In my opinion if you want to make it a challenge, take your .300 and just set your max shot limit at 100 yards just like you would with the herret. That being said I’m not much fun at parties.

You don't find it ironic Buzz, that your bud Randy, whose platform is public lands hunting and opportunity, just took money from a state he's not a resident of, and literally reduced public land hunt opportunity?
