Sorry guys, 295 is all he scores. Good angle, good setup, sitting behind the bull and picture taken from a lower point on the hillside. I am not a professional scorer, but I am competent and run an honest tape. We spend a lot of time staging our animals for a good picture. Not trying to fool anyone, just wanting to have a picture that is as special as the kill.

Tred just passed away in an auto accident in Canada. Not a lot of details but I know for the last month or so he had an RV and had traveled to Alaska. Heck of a fisherman, hunter and all around good guy who managed to never give up no matter what cards he was delt. He is outta pain now and if there is a here after I know he is sitting around the campfire with people like Bear, Ruark, Learner and a slew of others.

Price drop - Zeiss Victory HT 10x42 - $1,100 - contact Travis at (480) 416-6076. These are hands down the best 10s I've ever looked through. I am only selling because I am buying the new Zeiss Victory RF binos, which utilizes the exact same fluoride glass. The retail on these was $2,500. The HTs have the highest true light transmission of any glass in the world. These are backed by Zeiss' transferable lifetime warranty. Here is the info and specs from Zeiss: https://www.zeiss.com/sports-optics/en_us/hunting/binoculars/victory-binoculars/victory-ht-binoculars.html#features The binos are in great condition and have been babied in the field with a closed harness. I have been very successful over the last couple of seasons with these binoculars and I can say from experience the brightness of this glass extends your effective hunting time at first and last light. I'll part ways with these binos for $1,100. I've bought and sold quite a bit here over the years, if anyone needs a list of references before buying I am happy to provide them. Good luck to everyone in the upcoming hunting season.

My grandpa was a lowly grunt in the island hopping in the pacific. He never talked about it, but he caught malaria twice and took a bullet that was lodged in his back. That bullet and the effects from the malaria stayed with him for the rest of his life. Those conditions plus the results of two cave-ins in the coal mines in Western PA made his later years tough and he died in his early 60's.

I like it, great glass quality, I chose it over a viper pst, hst, and pst gen 2 vortex, due to price and clarity at 600+yards. I will also sell the scope itself for 500

at work i met a udt frogman 3 years ago. went in the water at Pearl, Normandy and Iwo Jima. my dad was at Hickam field on dec 7 and landed with the marines on the guadalcanal' as 1 of 117 SeaBees on the first day. he did the duration on guadalcanal and bougainville. fellow here in show low i bought a pickup from was a sub driver on the USS Barwood. it famously took a 4 inch jap shell right through the conning tower off taiwan and then sailed 2,000 miles back to Australia on the surface. if they dove most of the electric systems would short out with the flooded tower. he didn't tell me that-i read it in Clay Blairs' Silent Victory with all the patrol reports from the pacific war. he was shocked-he thought ii was still top secret!!! a Corsair pilot was in dad's carpool to Luke in the '60's but thats all i know of Mitch. my uncle Cecil lost a leg on Heartbreak Ridge in Korea and drank himself to death. Bless them All. and they never had anything much to say about it all. lee

I’m new to this forum, but have used a lot of steel shot for small game. In 20 gauge, I like a 7/8 oz versus 3/4. Kent used to have a steel dove and quail load in #7 that worked great. They have a dove steel now only in #6. Lately, I find having all non tox is easier, because I like switch to some 3” stuff and jump a tank or two while either dove or duck hunting.
